PoliticsRe: Jonathan, PDP Can’t Claim Credit For Defeating Ebola — Governor Fashola by KennyElish: 10:44am On Oct 02, 2014
You don't seemed to listen to GEJ speech yesterday? or you want to play the usual "i must support my pay master game". Anyway, he who plays the piper dictates the tone. I wander when you will be courageous enough to say the fact even when death stairs at you for it. Fashola mentioned those Doctors and other health workers that laid down their lives and simply said GEJ should credit them, does he (GEJ) knows how well these people had exposed their lives to death?

My friend, Fashola statement has not warrant you castigating him, he has spoken the truth.

isrecole: Honestly,I can't understand the reason/s for Fashola vituperations against President Goodluck Jonathan because at no time did the President claimed credit for eradication of EVD. The President in His speech ONLY harped on the need for unity amongst Nigerians. Anyway,I guess Fashola talked so as to please his Godfather at Bourdillon so that Tinubu could consider him for a higher position in case they realise their unachievable defeat of President GEJ. FASHOLA should not just be talking,as a SAN,he should always make faultless statements!!!!!!

Let no leader with declined vision claim glory for what he didnt do, we know our heroes as far as Ebola outbreak is concerned. Well said our able Gov. Fashola, you are one of the heroes too.
PoliticsTackle Unemployment, Methodist Prelate Tells FG by KennyElish(op): 10:06am On Oct 02, 2014
The Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Dr. Samuel Uche, has called on the Federal Government to save the nation from unemployment by embarking on policies that will strengthen the manufacturing and agricultural sectors.

He also said that only a complete ideological rebirth could take Nigeria to its promise land.

This was contained in his message to commemorate the nation’s 54th Independence Day anniversary.

The clergy, who identified democratic governance as the nation’s greatest achievement since it gained independence, lamented the country’s inability to take advantage of its vast human and natural resources for development.

He said, “This is the time for us to have a rethink and recreate ourselves. We certainly cannot continue on this path. There must be a renaissance capable of transforming our economy and socio-political life. Our economy must be more growth-oriented, robust and market-driven targeted at creating jobs, empowering the middle class and providing infrastructural support for entrepreneurs and investors especially the much-needed Foreign Direct Investments.

“There must be deliberate policies that will transform the agricultural sector, a sector that has the capacity to generate huge employment numbers and turn us into a major exporting nation and also aid economic growth. The power sector must function at optimum capacity because many businesses are obviously dependent on the availability of power, while the oil and gas sector must be reorganised, restructured and made more accountable.”

Uche also listed poverty, poor quality of education, collapse of the manufacturing sector, religious crisis, and unemployment as some of the problems confronting the nation.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Economy Doomed! United States Halts Crude Oil Importation From Nigeria by KennyElish: 9:43am On Oct 02, 2014
If only the government at the center will invest in the human resources we have to enhance diverse opportunities that is capable of installing a high level of citizen confidence in the programs and policies that will take Nigeria to its founding fathers' dream land then, there will be no cause to raise alarm but it will be worse if the demand for the only product from Nigeria is cut short because these corruption specialists will turn it against the common citizens of these country. There will be high rate of inflation, more people will be retrenched of their jobs, crime rate will rise and all aspects of our daily lives will be affected on the excuses of drop in demands for what we produced.

However, the seating allowances for Reps. and Senate members, Presidential traveling allowance, Aso Villa maintenance allowance, Goodluck Patience trip allowances etc and the usual constituency project allowance that will never be used in the constituency neither will it be probed shall all increase because the beneficiaries are direct descendants of the creator.

There is God ooo...
PoliticsRe: $9.3m Scandal: Oritsejafor violated Company Law, Says Falana by KennyElish: 6:50pm On Sep 30, 2014
Dmacaw: Falana said by the provisions of
CAMA, the jet which was allegedly
registered for the facilitation of
evangelism could not be leased to
another company for commercial
purpose, as CAN had said while
defending Oritsejafor.

Only in Nigeria would a SAN pronounce someone guilty based on rumor the jet which was "allegedly" registered for evangelism for God sake if you are not sure what name Pst Ayo used in registration why not do your homework properly before coming out to feed this majority of the gullible peeps on Nairaland trash.
Is only a fool that would have made this kind of submission. Does the word "allegedly" now take away the facts on ground? he has not denied his private jet was used to carry the money and here you stand condemning who is guiding the people on how to put the country right. For your information, Falana is well made already, he is only fighting that things should be done in a right way for the masses of this nation to enjoy dividend of democracy in its actual sense. Argue like some one that is not clueless like your leaders.

Is disheartening to see one of the Christian front runners getting himself involved in the Nigerian dirty politics. Oritsejafor should have known when to stop his "zombism" attitude and be a man of God that he claimed to be. He has brought shame on christianity and by shamefully indulged in an unGodly act, let him go and seek the face of God and ask for forgiveness of sin because is better not to lead than to mislead.

He is such a disgusting shameless fellow.

Ori Abare a gbe oo. you will also agree with me that the state, in the past 3 years, have enjoyed relative peace and experienced development in all spheres of live... my appeal therefore goes to the gov. elect Fayose should think about the peace loving people of that state and stop putting "Ile iyi, ile eye" in bad light. Ilu ria mo a daru oo.
