I think you should talk to her comr out plain and ask her questions concerning her academic challenges she is battling for which I think Is her main problem now not inviting her to your house . She needs more of your care and support now as a friend. Am sure you would not advice your jambite sister to start having relationship now that she needed to face her studies squally. I will advice you to guild her through her academic if you really love and care for her like you claimed. Besides she is still very young to start dealing with relationship stuffs she has not gotten admission. That is my humble opinion.
