The ''sore'' is a downer. Given the love was once fresh, ''Love turn sour'' fits in my opinion.
Tnx a lot. I'm so grateful.

Sore could be symbolic, depends on your story-line, but then sour is widely used, hence appropriate.
I love Y̶̲̥̅̊o̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊, standd.

Peeps, help chech these title/topic/theme out. Which sounds pretty touchy and appropriate... "Love turn sour" or "love turn sore"?

You're right. At age 13 I was molested by our landlady's daughter(then who as at that time around 32 years of age) in Mushin, Lagos, and when I told my aunt she simply brushed it aside and after much admittance she called me "ashewo".

I was scarred to tell my mum cuz she wouldn't believe me either.

Few years down the line, I bumped into her at the airport with 3 beautiful girls and that nostalgic feeling of plea "aunty Ronke abeg na" just rang in my ears and at that moment I wish her girls could hear them too.

She didn't even apologise.

Up till today, I don't feel comfortable sitting close to women to any woman older than me (not even my momma).

Last year October, my little cousin (a boy) was molested by a female corper in F.G.C. Kwali and instead of the school to act on his complaint they suspended him for lying on a "Teacher".

The fact is this stuff happens to us male bbut the way ours is bn handled is very different from the ladies. The female get more sympathy than the male
I do nt dispute the fact that this things happens to boys. All I'm saying is that it is rampant when it comes to girls being molested.

You should read "Emmanuella", a story here on NL written by standd and you'd know the pain we feel as a girl, lady and woman.

Let us drift away from the issue of molesting to loving. When a lady loves a guy like 'kilode?' and all she gets in return is being used for rituals, drugged and raped to death by more than one person. What is it we have done to deserve such cruelty?

Hmmmmm... No decency for womanhood. They turn their wives to a punch bag. My oh my! I forgot it's like father like son. It all runs in their vein.

I didn't read everyone's comment but the little little I read plus standd's update said it all.

Although, girls, ladies even women give people the room to call them names. I have a male friend who was molested by a lady at age 12. What will you call that?

Sugar mummies: they made themselves laughing stock by going for people worth calling their son.

On the contrary, I won't let judgemental becloud me nor my sense of reasoning for our girls, ladies and women are not to blame but opposite sex are. I chose not to blame them because I knw not what they have suffered in the hands of slavery born men.

What story will our dear chibok girls tell? What future await them? Won't these same men term them slut?

Hi stand. I presume i am the stranger and you asked me those questions.... Why this? Why that?.... Hmmmm..... Everyone has got their story to tell dear. If i start mine, this tread won't contain it...lol. Seriously, maybe you'd be pitying my parents or me. You dont want to take drugs but i would go to the hospital and beg to be given injections as a start dose. To use your exact words, sometimes i wish i could sleep and slip to the after life.

Words alone cant tell what i been through and the tears i shed in any of the horrible time is nothing compared to how i'm hurting on the inside.

Some would say mother's prayers kept me going but i'd say, parents + grandmother+ aunties and uncles+ siblings+ friends prayers + my faith and prayers got me this far and still going.

This statement is quite self-contradictory.

It takes passion and love to be a fan. So by loving Barca, I suppose you're already a fan.

Shame most Nigerian ladies have got nothing for sports. They're only concerned with telenovelas, I cringe.
Fan pass fan..... Gone are d days i would list over ten players in the team... Puyol, ibrahimovic, andrew, samuel eto, iniesta, yaya, messi,......... But now, na only messi i know and since d beginning of this year, i avnt watch any FCB match. Infact, the only match i did watch since jan 1 was that of chelsea and sunderland( simply because twinny made every1 watch it).

Yes! I love telenovelas and i know several guyz that love it too.

Don't let ur gf stop using her inhaler just because she has no symptoms. Long term control is very important. It's not sexy/cool to be seen using inhaler but her life n well being are more important.

It took me years to persuade a distant relative in 9ja to use inhalers. She was in denial. She didn't want the uncool label "asthmatic". Despite obvious symptoms. Evven serious at times.

She uses it now and symptoms are largely gone. For years now.
you sound like a medical practitional.
Sometimes, i wonder why little ailment takes people away. Why from a tender age they tend to suffer these things. I had a junior student back in high school who ended up repeating a class because of constant asthma attack which often require her to go home most times for proper treatment. Another case i know of is someone with a PUD(Peptic Ulcer Disease) who detected it at age 13 and has had GastroIntestestinal bleeding(vomiting and stooling of blood) two times ever since then. There is no way one wont cry when these two people have crisis or an attack.

Awww, what a pretty lady.....

God be with the family

This is why asthmatics must always be with their inhalers all the time....

RIP sis.... cry
Que Sera Sera! If u tink all asthmatic patient shld be wit dir inhaler, what do u tink someone who choked to death from drinking water should be with?
Some would blame it on unavailability of transport but what if joy still leaves even after urgent medical attention, what then would you blame it on?
May her soul continually rest in the bossom of her creator.
