This way they can at least drink chai in a kibanda. please note that as a professional, I would have a better minimum wage than ksh 8,000. Work of pay for work of equal value, implies that work has been done and a wage aught to be paid. Thus what you are talking about and what I am talking about are very different things. We paying people Ksh 8000 a day because they are working already. These workers when given the money will be creative and often create more wealth because they love working.


I have never implied that all you need is Ksh 8,000 a day to live in any specific place. However, depending on ones circumstance, the wage of Ksh. 8000 a day allows for the minimum age earner to think of saving a little bit.
