When shopping for a budget smartphone, one of the most advertised camera specs you’ll often see is megapixel count. But here’s the big question: Does a higher megapixel guarantee better image quality?

To help answer that, tech content creator Benjamin Freeman compared two popular entry-level smartphones — the Redmi A5 and the TECNO POP 9 — in a real-world photo shoot.

Both phones are affordable, aimed at users who want simple, reliable cameras for everyday use. But surprisingly, more megapixels didn’t mean better results.
According to Benjamin Freeman’s video review, the TECNO POP 9 produced brighter images with better overall detail, despite having a lower 13MP rear camera compared to Redmi A5’s 32MP sensor.

POP 9 Images are clearer, brighter, and more color-accurate in normal lighting. While the Redmi A5 Images suffered from a bluish tint and occasional red color cast, which made photos look unnatural. Source-

I had s similar experience with my Prepaid meter though, trying to recharge so I could get the light back on and it took me 4 days to do so. Had to meet one of my neighbors working at EEDC

The only issue Nigerians have right now is the high rate of the dollar.

$280 isn't such big money but due to high rate, the phone is N660,000 which is huge money.

But the Phone is one maddd phone anyone will be happy to buy

I feel that's the best when it comes to gaming but if you're going for something overall and not in a special category then the Camon 30 is the one, just my opinion though

I'm not sure there will be any regrets to purchasing this phone
