Babinski:

Both Emefiele and Cardoso are clueless on the matter of the depreciation of the Naira. The ill-advised decision to float the Naira in Tinibu's regime has only worsened the situation dramatically.

Emefiele and Cardoso are not economists unlike Soludo, which is a critical skill set required to tackle the problem besetting the national monetarily. Being bankers does not suffice. So they are left with making wild guesses and adopting trial and error approach. And the results are what we have been seeing.

Bring soludo Into this discussion looks like a big insult to his personality. Soludo eventhough arrogant, is in a class of his own, I compare him with Allen Greenspan . It is like comparing Allen onyema with local bus transporters.

I am beginning to think that with the food taste drama which didn't quite trend and this latest skittish might eventually be a big Marketing stunt to get free nationwide publicity, he will recover the money in seconds . This advert would have cost billions but he could have settled with less than N5m

Not only southeast... The Hamas treatment according to u should be extended to northeast and north central, where bandits are billing the residents in millions. Even in southwest especially Ogun state where currently there is sit at home caused by Fulani herdsmen.

What exactly has the south east done that you want to do the Hamas treatment over a bunch of idle ipob members the military can't engage.

The hamas treatment will be just too much and the after effect will lead to a full blown guerrilla warfare that will lead to the destruction, annihilation of anything Nigeria. It will lead to the use of drones to destroy infrastructure like bridges, dams , airports, planes, electricity plants, refineries, electricity sub stations, etc treating the south east like Gaza will be the last straw for Nigeria.

Rather than the foolish Hamas treatment, just do a referendum and allow them to go

Has any of your leadership condemned the ritual killings, skull mining, ominile, area boyism, extortionists going on in your enclave which is worse than the insurgency in the north and the resurgence in the east

Pls can anyone tell what the major tribes of Nigeria have achieved?

They have built nothing all these years

They are useless and hopeless.

The are populated for nothing
Bunch of zombies

Holding the igbo race down is the major achievements of the black people occupying Nigeria presently.

They are busy dragging the igbo nation around while Nigeria is melting down like the Titanic.

Some intelligence I have shows that the present war between Ukraine and Russia will end up in Africa's Soviet union as northern Soviet state vs south west Soviet state with Russians backing Northern Soviet and united state backing south west Sovietstat.

This post is not about Soviet union, make of it whatever you want to make of it

It seems there was a covert agreement never to allow an igbo man from south east to become the GMD of nnpc.

It also seems this is the only thing Nigeria has achieved till date.

Biafra was blockade by the world powers and still refined it's fuel and generated its electricity but Nigeria that has no single country in its blockade list and is not in any country's blockade list cannot refined a drop of crude oil.

What I think Nigeria needs to overcome present challenges is a level headed smart ,intelligent and experienced young man who can ride the storm without getting exhausted easily and the only person that appears to fit the description is Peter Obi or Osibanjo.

Nigeria should not elect rubbish and request us to pray

Apologies, I think Chinese hold igbos in very high esteem and this kind of vague misunderstanding would never have gone this far. I might be wrong but I have known Chinese and Indians for more than 20 years.

Nevertheless if it happened to the igbos or southeast, the internet and mass media would have gone ablaze.

Reno omokiririri would have been vomiting like a possessed demon non stop, onanugs would have invoked the spirit of hypocrisy to finish ihbos

Thanks to France, if biafra had succeded, you would have been a french colony under france slavery.
Biafra would not have been a colony, there is a difference between colonization and support during a war. Russia fought against Germany when Germany invaded France and other parts of Europe but Russia never colonized Europe or France but occupied Germany after the war

Biafra through out the blockade of the 30 months civil war, refined it's fuel without import , generated its electricity , builts it's rocket propelled missiles , built its radio transmission system , made automobile parts for all it's vehicles, machinery, aircraft, armoured tanks , produced pharmaceutical products and still inflicted world scale damages on a Nigerian military backed up by soviet union, Britain, Egypt and Arab world.

But Nigeria backed by the world powers and in peace time cannot achieve fuel availability for its citizens.

The question is how will Ogun state pay $70m , N112B in this period to the Chinese company.

If pat utomi was a Chinese company then he would have sued Ogun state and obtained a court injunction to see federal government property overseas but he is a private , delta indigene and can be denied his fundamental rights

These are the type of men existing in this generation? A type that cannot think logically except blame a whole tribe for what everyone is facing presently? No wonder politics section is a cesspit, you guys have the brain of mentally ill humans.

You are funny, go and check the ceos of troubled telecommunications company that are on the verge of collapse, go and check who is the minister of communications and come back for more tutoring . This is why Nigeria doesn't get better, the people responsible for the degeneration of Nigeria are not taking responsibility, you are the fellow that is very mentally ill in this scenario.

Bigkoko:
Do you know the same shadowy figures who can not compete free and square were the same persons who led a campaign of #Ghanamustgo years back!

Ghanaians occupied three key sectors:
Haircare
Education.
Shoemaking.

Say no to envy, jealousy and covetousness!

Now, I grew up amongst Expats in back Bendel State (aka Edo & Delta state now). As an Igbo, our relatives calls us people from Mid-west, a colloquial for elite people living in Bendel State. It was our abroad then, before we decided to try outside the country since una no wan develop. I still remember those fun moments when daddy makes sure we visit the village once a year as a ritual, either to go honor the benevolent spirits of our family during New yam festival (following daddy's Grace. Crazy to see chicken strangled in unjustified cruelty in the name appeasements or whatever) or during Xmas festivities (following mom's Christian calling). I like mom's own better because the chicken are killed in calm, less cruel way and I don't get to be around when it's done.

It was a childhood delight and as usual villages in Igbo heartland takes a picturesque shape!
Back then, the only people who displaced the igbos in the education sector, meritoriously were the Ghanaians. Now, remember, the Igbos were leading in almost all sector of the economy before the war...this didn't go down well for the indigenous tribes, mostly the SW & Fulani. The huge loss of Human capital during the war took an instant effect, our professors and teachers fought, were killed or went on exile. Our youth who would have systemically replace them were not schooled during those period and later on abandoned some sector for health and business. The Ghanaians saw a gap and filled in places. This also did not go down well with the Ronus!

Then, children of the Oduduwa strucked.
Their hate for progressives perfectly cloaked by the effective use of Lagos-Ibadan brown envelope journalism veinly garnished with Amala, gbegiri and other orishrishi was effectively deployed. They're indeed Masters when it comes to propaganda, lies, deception or worse. They can make you hate your own mom. Give it to them, it's a Gift, though I wish it's actually deployed to good causes!

They woke up one crazy morning, and championed and called for expulsion of innocent hardworking Ghanians. I had Ghanaian friends then at school and one day they bid us goodbye and that's it.

Fast-forward to now. The Ghanaians left, they achieved what they coveted, the positions Ghanaians occupied in the education sector.... Ghanaians are good teachers, that's why WAEC choose there for a headquarter.

What the nation didn't realize was that jealousy, envy and covetousness were the sole and only reason. Innocent igbos and others joined the chorus. The Ghanaians left, the Ronus occupied and the education sector collapsed! Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The same thing they wanted to try but Sanwo Olu was ready even though he wasn't entirely free to do as he pleases. He swiftly deported them back to Oshogbo..... hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣.

When the Ghanaians left, the Ronus took over the education system, and it instantly collapsed.

The hausas took over cobblering (shoe mending) and off course they lack the skills and tools like the Ghanaians.

Every other tribes took over the hair making sector and it stays on!

Now, see the correlation.
Education and show mending collapsed because no competent replacement.

But the hair salon didn't because we didn't leave it for the Ronus and abokis.

This is why I say, envy, jealousy and covetousness is not good for the Nation!

Tåck och Heg Dåg!

You missed on the telecommunications sector which has been on ICU and might not last. Exactly what you described happened to the education industry is happening to the telecommunications industry. The same people harassed foreigners out stole the industry blind and could not run the companies, now telecommunications companies are at there verge of imminent collapse.

The eatery industry is in decline, insurance is almost gone.
