PoliticsRe: BBC To Publish Groundbreaking Documentary On Biafran War by kettykin: 12:24am On May 23
Igbos need to be prepared to present an original documentary on the Biafra experience, offering a detailed, blow-by-blow historical account of the events leading up to and during the conflict. This would trace developments from the controversial census and disputed elections, through the political tensions surrounding the Awolowo treason trial and imprisonment.

It would further examine the 1966 coup and the subsequent counter-coup, alongside the leadership decisions under Gowon that contributed to Nigeria’s slide into civil war. The narrative would also review key aspects of the conflict, including battlefield conduct, humanitarian concerns such as civilian casualties, destruction of farmlands, and reported disruptions to relief efforts, including Red Cross operations and welfare distributions.

In addition, it would analyze major military engagements during the war, such as the failed attempts to cross the Niger at Onitsha Bridge, the destruction of a 2nd Division at Abagana, and the final fall of Owerri, including the heavy losses suffered by the 3rd Marine Commando Division.

This was the controversial 1963 census that set Nigeria on a path and trajectory of no return. If you want accurate census check the census before 1940, and you can use the right census toll to extrapolate for 2026

This is exactly what am saying, even if we the Igbos don't want to collaborate with anyone, for the sake of our land. We should never allow Kogi Benue and Taraba to fall. If these terrorist have camo their, launching attack against us will be easy for them.
They can't enter the East. It will be suicidal. They couldn't enter when sokoto caliphate was expanding before independence and they can't enter now
PoliticsRe: Bandiitry/boko Boys: The South Don't Know What Is Coming For Them. by kettykin: 8:06am On Mar 11
Rich4god:
This particular battle is ours. Igbos are the greatest threat to Islamic jihadist from achieving total control of Nigeria.

First we are outspoken, we don't hide our mouths, secondly we are 99 percent Christians and so their plans of infiltrating us with their islamic agenda will be difficult. I base in the north. I can tell you that if you see the massive way they are funding and campaigning to have Igbo Muslims. Last year when issues of Igbo Muslims came up, it was part of their propaganda.

Why we need to take this fight seriously is because if they succeed in conquering other regions, we will definitely fall cause we can't fight alone. That's why Benue, Kogi and Taraba should never fall to the terrorist.
If you're igbo , please take some time to read igbo history of the civil war and after that you might decide to mind your business for the rest of your life.

The problem is not bandits or boko haram. The problem is your fellow southerners . They will rather betray igbos than fight the bandits

Mrchippychappy:
Not just fold our hands, but get ready to defend ourselves and collaborate more with the North central, The collaboration between both regions has already drawn the attention of the international world to the government sponsored Christian genocide in Nigeria. The border towns between Benue - Enugu and Kogi - Anambra need to be heavily fortified.
Bro, all that you said is fine until it backfires, and you will understand Nigeria better. I read the story of the first Nigerian coup. One version had it that the coup of Jan 15th, 1966, was a preemptive coup to stop another coup planned by Northerners on January 16th, 1966 . In the coup of January 15th were some middle belters like Atom Kpera along side some yorubas and igbo officers involved. All that changed when the coup was crushed by igbo officers .

After the coup ,Atom kpera was spared. He was shielded from persecution and the whole thing became an igbo coup even with the yorubas involved. If this betrayal doesn't traumatize you ,I don't any betrayal will do.

We are back to 1966. The best igbos can do now is to mind their business and prepare for the father of all wars.

This southern defense will turn into an igbo o attempt to invade the south west, south south and Middle belt if care is not taken.

My takeaways is igbos mind your business for now
PoliticsRe: Bandiitry/boko Boys: The South Don't Know What Is Coming For Them. by kettykin: 7:46am On Mar 11
Igbos, please mind your business. This particular battle is not yours. If you try to intervene, your case will not be as lucky as Nnamdi Kanu's case
