Annually, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria (TUCN): Total Exploration & Production Nigeria Limited (Total E&P Nig Ltd) and Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), together with their venture partners, award scholarships to deserving Nigerian students in the tertiary institutions in the country. The programme is aimed at promoting academic excellence and quality manpower development in the Country. This is one of the many ways TOTAL demonstrates its commitment to the educational development of Nigerian students. It is a part of TOTAL’s rich Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Application Forms for the 2018/2019 National Merit Scholarship will be available on this site and will be announced in the newspapers from October 2018. Form must be completed online. Details of the application process are given below.

About PTDF Scholarship 2018
The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), the Federal Government agency with the mandate of developing indigenous human capacity and petroleum technology to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry. The Fund hereby invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for 2018/2019 Undergraduates, Masters and PHD Scholarship for students in Nigerian recoganised Universities.

Criteria, Requirements and Selection Process for LSS Graduates:
A selection Panel will be conducted to access applicants using the following criteria;
Academic merit as evidenced by quality of degree, full academic transcript, other professional qualifications acquired and other relevant publications to be referenced by applicants.
Membership of professional bodies.
The validity of study/research plan (PHD applicants only).
All applicants are required to make a case for their scholarship by submitting a statement of purpose stating the reasons they wish to undertake he study, the relevance of proposed study to the industry and its expected impact on national development.
