Lands are generally measured in feet. The area which a land occupies is measured in terms of it's L x B like 50x100ft, 60x120ft, 100x100ft

But professionally, land is described in square meter

So, what is the relationship between a meter and a ft

1ft = 0.305m
50ft = ?

=15.25m

Therefore 100ft = 30.5m

Area = L * B
50 * 100
15.25 *30.5
~ 465 m²

THREE MOST COMMON LAND SIZES

1. A PLOT: a plot of land is simply a carved out portion of land and it varies from city to city

2. AN ACRE: this is simply 8 sections of 50x100 or 4 sections of 100x100

3. HECTARE: is simply 2½ sections of an Acre. 20 plots of 50x100 or 10 plots of 100x100
