Wao, I guess my mistake was to jump into the whole arrangement with out adequate planning. The builder was actually building from his head so I could not exactly figure out a lot of things. But I had to insist on getting the drawing done recently. It was amazing that it would cost me N30k to get the drawing done. Well, Its just unfortunately but I have to adjust my but get further. @kolaahangone, @ricki, thanks all for your assistance. Thanks nairaland for this platform. I would still appreciate any suggestion on roof type materials that I should consider buying to ensure the cost remain with in bearable limit. |

Good morning, it actually did. I presume the location should deem it not too expensive. Am open to suggestion on how to keep the cost moderate |
Fellow Nairalanders, i am new to this forum but must say that I have been quite impressed with the manner help is being rendered to the helpless. At this moment, I really need guidance to help me manage my limited resources. I actually have no prior experience in building but am currently involved in building a sort of family home at my village within Aba, Abia State. I initially had a budget of N1m to finish the 4 bed room property but based on activities of people around me, the building expanded to 6 bedrooms and i have already sunk in N1.3m but it is still at lintel level. The quotations for the roofing received so far has equally been mind blowing mostly in the neighbourhood of over N600k. My budget is N300k max. Please suggestions on decent low cost roofing types will be most appreciated |
