Messi and Abidal make Kazan trip

Although he has not yet received the medical okay to play, Leo Messi joins Eric Abidal in the squad that travels to Russia for the game against Rubin on Wednesday. The injured Adriano is the only first team squad player to miss the trip.

After training normally with the rest of the squad this morning at the Ciutat Esportiva, Leo Messi was called into the squad for the Champions League trip, even though the medical staff have not yet given him the all clear to play following his injury at the Vicente Calderon. Eric Abidal is also back and Thiago Alcántara repeats his call up for the Bilbao game, whilst Adriano misses the trip.
