Abeg I need more suggestions... Demafeboy.. KhingTony.
Please mention people you think can help out. Thanks
I'll not advice you go for an iPhone 7, because it has a small battery and it'll give you issues in the future, You should go for an Android phone, maybe the Redmi Note 9.

miui support?
You and I know MiUI support is irrelevant, when an app can only support Android 12 above, Even if the Redmi 9 receives 4 annual MiUI updates, it can't still download and run that app.

Sometimes I wonder if some peeps just talk without even processing! No offense. The iPhone 6 will lose apple's support next year. It's not going to get ISO 15. In the next two years, 2 more iPhones will be out. The price of iPhone 6 will drop and might even become free (Obviously a joke). The Redmi 9 has up to 2 Android updates and 3 Miui update which will still make it relevant in 2022.
The Redmi 9 will have only one Android update, that's if it will have any, you can as well tell us how many the Redmi 8 got.

In the next 2 years, 3 or 4 more Redmi phones will be added to the series, so, how do you expect the Redmi to still be valuable then?

Hey SunShine, that guy is just hyping iPhones, you should have sensed that, I already gave him an advice in the first comment, but what I want you to know is that, you can never go wrong with an iPhone and, in the next two years, the iPhone 6 will be more valuable than the Redmi 9
