I wouldn't have commented on this thread if not because you (a Christian I suppose) class him to be a prophet.

A prophet is Gods mouthpiece to men. He hears direct from God (not Jubril) and relay such to men.

He isn't a prophet for the following reasons.
1. All prophets have a direct communication with God. Mohammed communication had always been through a purported Jubril (who didn't introduce himself)
2. The Allah seems never condemned Mohammeds sins of adultery compare with David who wasnt really a full prophet.
3. He has no validation as a Prophet. (His only validation is the Quran which wasn't even a book till well after his death)
4. He contradicted and opposed the cardinal point of Christianity
-the Divinity of Christ
-atonement for sin through His blood
-death and resurrection of Christ

Can anyone claim to be a christian yet disbelivung these three?

If Mohammed is a prophet, the question to ask is ;
A prophet of who?

God is not an author of confusion.

5. Mohammed sent a man to kill a nursing mother who wrote a poem against him - how can a prophet commit murder
