2 Teams from each group. The 1st ,2nd and 3rd will qualifier at the end of the tournament i.e 2 finalists plus the best loser. charlesemeka85: how many teams to qualify from each group? if the team makes it to the next round does that mean they have qualified automatically for the olympics? |

TheSuperNerd: Netherlands are good. They were just unlucky against Senegal. They whipped USA 4-0 and I think they can make it among the best 4 third placed teams.
Japan is beating Senegal. Not surprised. But again, Japan wants to top the group shaa and get an easy Round of 16 draw. If countries from Groups B, C, D, F emerge as best losers which I forsee, then our Eaglet will meet Netherlands in the 2nd round. |

Abohboy: Cedi is way stronger Ghanaian currency 1 dollar equals like 5 Cedi we need them it will be like 1 dollar equals 50 eco Cedis value based on exchange rate and purchasing power ,Ghc5 is suppose to be N500 ,but the actual value is N350.Also what N500 will buy Ghc5 can't buy it. Furthermore $1=Ghc5.40 ,while $1= N360 Finally be informed that the present Ghc5 is actually Ghc50,000 .they removed 4 zeros from the currency ,while Nigeria has never removed any zero from our own. This should clarify why we have more zeros in Naira stated values than in Cedis state values. Naira is stronger than Cedis as at today. |

I just came across this on Wikipedia on CAF 2022 world cup qualification structure, the final qualification will be best 10 to meet on home and away basis for best 5 to emergy :
'The previous proposal to merge the qualification rounds for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with those for the World Cup was turned down after a CAF meeting on 11 June 2018.[2]
CAF reverted to the format used for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification competition.
First round: 28 teams (ranked 27–54) played home-and-away over two legs. The 14 winners advanced to the second round.
Second round: 40 teams (ranked 1–26 and 14 first-round winners) will be divided into ten groups of four teams to play home-and-away round-robin matches. The ten group winners advance to the third round.
Third round: The ten second round group winners play home-and-away over two legs. The five winners qualify for the World Cup' |
