PKD real name Dubre Perekeme, is a Delta state born lyricist with a unique laid back flow that oozes of confidence allowing each line to sink in to the hearts of listeners.

He has harnessed an underground following from past releases and features most notably the star studded Break The Silence featuring 2Face Idibia, Essence, Sound Sultan, Machel Montana, Squadee, K Slim, Righteousman, Samini, Jo-El, and Precision Productions.

PKD is finally ready to launch a solo career with the release of his first official solo single tagged ‘Where Am From’.

The song is about the lure of the street life faced by many youths from his state of Origin, Delta state and Nigeria in a larger context. The song has a conscious undertone in the layered verses that depict the street life.

The kick and snare heavy cut is produced by fast rising producer Spyke, an in house producer for Now Muzik, whose production credits includes work with Tony Oneweek and K Slim.

Hip hop meets pop music, as the song samples the beautiful vocals of Nhlanhla Nciza, one half of Mafikizolo from the song Tchelete with Davido.

The song Where Am From is the first single from the soon to be released EP, Its Bout Time. The Ep will be released independently and will be available for free download.
