damilola4162: What is really going on in Igbo land nowadays, make God help us, Delta are now Igbos? At least, there's improvement but why did you conveniently forget about Kwara South where Fulanis have chased thousands of Yorubas out of their ancestral lands forcing them to be refugees all over the South West ? There's a serious problem spreading in your region but it's better to keep focusing on Igbos every other day |

Kdon2: Story
Not enough original content Please take a moment to write a quality post with at least 40 characters. This will make the forum more interesting for everyone. he's mostly right apart from his claim that Jesus never existed. The original Israelites are black and they migrated INTO sub saharan Africa which fits every description of the promised land in the bible unlike the Palestinian land being occupied by the Europeans over in the middle east who call themselves Israelis. It's a very long and deep rabbit hole once you start your own research but ponder why these guys wanted to found modern day Israel in present day Uganda axis but had to jettison the idea because skin color couldn't be explained away . Jesus is real though not that white dude we see in paintings and photographs, that's just Leonardo da Vinci's boyfriend who was "immortalized" by the great artist |

dapotemi: About two weeks ago, my partner (driver) called that he noticed about 3-5 seconds delay only in the morning when he shift the gear to drive or reverse. It takes about 5 second before car starts moving. He suggested we change the gear oil which was done. Two days after he reached out that it's still the same. I was in town on Friday so I ask that he dropped the car in my house. My mech advised that we should stop driving it so issues won't escalate. Last Saturday, I tested it and I confirmed it, gear delayed for about 5 second only when it's cold. Driving is smooth after the initial 5 second delay. Just this weekend that car was not used, this guy don call me tire asking how far and bringing diff suggestions. I was thinking car should be parked for a while till I'll decide on what to do, but this man is really disturbing..It's 05 Corolla.. Anyone with similar experience. What do you think I can do? A friend says it could be brain box, or even filter..Do you know any experience person that can diagnose properly? don't do trial and error or throw parts at the car. What I'll suggest is get a mechanic with a professional scan tool to check the car and pinpoint the exact cause of its problem. Things are too expensive now to play kalokalo |

HEAVEN4444: lol not really bro . I stopped gaslighting people. Am on the journey of love and light now 😁😁 tell your bosses to put any of the mentioned names on 2027's ballot considering their ages with a solid agreement with all stakeholders for a single term or stop yapping. We all know the purpose of this topic is to deflect Nigerians from more important issues and also sow in their minds the seeds of discord against Igbos as usual. This is the third topic in three days targeting a single tribe for ridicule and we all know the outcome of this sort of social engineering |
Celebrities › Re: Which Of These Four Legendary Artists Is Your Favorite? by KillahPriest: 11:52am On Aug 18, 2025 |
obembet: These four legendary Nigerian musicians Ayinla Omowura, Haruna Ishola, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, and Sikiru Ayinde Barrister are unique because each of them pioneered and popularized different indigenous music genres that became cultural pillars in Nigeria and beyond.
Here is what makes them special in music industry
1. Ayinla Omowura – King of Apala music
Known as the most influential Apala musician. His music addressed social, political, and cultural issues. His style blended traditional Yoruba percussion with deep philosophical messages.
2. Haruna Ishola – King of Apala/Fuji precursor (Were music)
One of the earliest and most successful Apala musicians. Famous for his spiritually rooted and poetic Yoruba lyrics. He gave Apala an identity and helped it spread internationally.
3. Fela Anikulapo Kuti – Pioneer of Afrobeat
International icon and activist. Fused traditional Yoruba rhythms, jazz, highlife, and funk. Used his music to challenge political corruption and oppression in Nigeria. Afrobeat later became a global sound, influencing today’s Afrobeats.
4. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister – Pioneer of Fuji music
Transformed Were music (Islamic wake-up songs during Ramadan) into Fuji, a major Yoruba genre. Modernized Yoruba percussion with dynamic rhythms and storytelling. Regarded as the father of Fuji music, inspiring later stars like Wasiu Ayinde and Pasuma.
All four artists are cultural revolutionaries who used indigenous Yoruba musical styles to create new genres or elevate existing ones. They are considered founding fathers of Nigerian traditional/modern music, laying the foundation for today’s Afrobeat, Fuji, and Apala sounds.
So, Which of them is your favorite and why?

But the way ndigbo incline it would seem those 3 will be a waste of ticket so the top brass politicians don't want to waste ticket on unpopular people. Ndigbo need to build a grassroot surge of support for Iweala. But keep it respectful. No need to attack others. Just focus on singing the virtues of her achievements. this is imbecilic gaslighting on steroids |

Another Igbo bashing day from the usual suspects even though they rarely think things through. Umahi is an APC member, Soludo is one leg in and one leg out while NOI can be persuaded by power brokers from within Nigeria and outside so, what stops the APC from picking one of them and presenting their ticket ? It could be as soon as 2027 even but no, put up a thread so that Igbos can be bashed, put up another one tomorrow and the harrassment against a single tribe goes on and on but for what ? May almighty God help Igbos in this country because the wolves are indeed circling |

Celestialsword: You are the types that fighs uneccesarily battles "...Later, when I checked my call logs, I noticed strange MTN service numbers (0803000XXXX). This points to insider interference — someone with MTN agent access helped disable my SIM so quickly. When I asked questions at the service center, a staff member even warned me not to come back for KYC details. Why? Because the trail might expose who inside MTN tampered with my line. I recovered my SIM, but the speed and cover-up show how vulnerable we are when insiders misuse their access..."
