Thanks for your responses. Problem is that he has been paying himself from his savings. There's no contract or invoice to prove funds as business hasn't done well this year. Uploading the bank statement i think would raise too many questions.

I am planning to sponsor my mum and dad to visit the UK for my wedding. My mum has previously been granted a UK visitor visa, but my dad's application was refused about a year ago due to concerns relating to financial misrepresentation.

I have been reviewing my dad's bank statements and noticed a number of inconsistencies. He is self-employed and has not had much business activity this year, yet there are several large transfers being made to his personal account each month. I am concerned that these transactions may raise questions during the visa assessment.

As I will be fully sponsoring their trip, what is the best way to present the application to avoid any issues arising from my dad's financial records? What supporting documents or explanations would be advisable in this situation?

I just googled how to lay a complaint via ukvi. You'll get a chat box where you can detail your grevieance

What are the chances of the reconsideration being successful? I feel the new application has a stronger case, plus I wouldn't get a refund and can't tell how fast the reconsideration would be. Is it wise and possible to withdraw the reconsideration instead and let the new application through? Need advice

My mom's visa was initially denied, I sent a complaint for reconsideration, didn't get any feedback so I reapplied. What do I do in this case

Google will direct you to how to complain officially to UKVI.
You should send and she sends. You are sending from the emotional point of view of not having your mother visit and all your taxes and the work you do. If you work in the healthcare industry, emotionalize this too.
Sending a complaints letter/email for reconsideration does not do anything bad.
If you succeed, the decision will be overturned.
Don’t reapply now.
Make sure you also state the ECO was already prejudiced… then list what you provided in the application and list the ties and list all the things the ECO overlooked.

On the application, I started she has additional income from rental properties and also attached an invoice for the said amount.
She uploaded her work bank account which only receives salary and business funds so there is no money from my dad in that account. Regarding home ties, I submitted several landed properties in ger name, a statement from her place of work and several community projects she leads. I also have 3 other siblings in Nigeria which I included in her cover letter

Did you by any chance attach a financial schedule to explain other inflows outside of her salary?
In regards to your dad not being a strong tie to home, is there also by any chance credits and debits to each other‘s account?
Is this a paid employment or business?
Do you have other siblings in Nigeria?

Please, how do I go about this? It's really frustrating because there was just one large deposit and I even attached the receipt for that.

Also, seeing that she was the one who applied, should the mail come from her or from me?

These reasons are not it and in my opinion are trivial, they just wanted to deny her.
If I were you, I would send in an official complaint via email and still prepare to do a Pre action protocol. Prepare a worded letter and complain about how frustrating it is for your mom not to be granted visit visa and all you provided and that her application was not looked at. You have to be serious in your complaints letter, not rude but let every word count.
Don’t also forget to mention all your taxes etc.. don’t let this refusal slide again as there is already a previous one to her name.

Also, what do i submit as proof of relationship with my mom? She was on my initial visa application that brought me to the UK, I have NPC birth certificate and pictures of us together. Would those suffice?

Supporting documents are payslips, bank statement and employment offer letter if you are employed.

If you are self employed, then bank statement is okay.

I just tracked my visa application and it says transferred to VAC. I have not gotten any pick up mail or refusal email. Does this mean there is a high probability i'd get the visa. I am not in Lagos so i'd have to wait till next week to know my fate. But I know God is in control

Biometrics was in the afternoon..Same Lagos.He opted for pick up from their office for him to receive on time.

This week is long already, I need this sorted by Monday. Was it same Lagos or another state? Trying to see how long delivery takes.

Also, what time of the day in July 1st did he have his biometrics?

He paid for dhl.He requested for pick up service from dhl through customer service instead of delivering at his address.

Yeah, they've started sending out passports for people who did July 1st though so hopefully by Monday we should get ours
