Came4amod:No be say I expect her to beg, bro. I no even dey look for that. It’s just how she act like nothing happen no emotion at all. She’s deep, yeah, but also very manipulative. There’s a thin line between depth and emptiness. |
Kobojunkie:It’s not about her not crying, bro. I didn’t expect that. It’s the way she was completely unmoved like she couldn’t even feel anything. No empathy, no concern, nothing. She reads emotions well but doesn’t actually connect to them. That’s what made it toxic everything felt calculated, never genuine. |
ZACHIE:I get what you’re saying bro, she’s very intelligent, no doubt sharp mind, reads a lot, and can understand people easily. But that’s exactly the problem. She’s a master manipulator, and she likes playing mind games too much. I no fit do that kind emotional chess every day. She lacks empathy everything with her na calculation. I respect her brilliance, but I value peace more. |
Came4amod:Bro it’s not about her not begging. I didn’t expect that. It’s the way she acted like nothing ever happened no emotion at all. She no just strong, she empty. There’s a big difference between being calm and being cold. |
As a Nigerian, I see this as a positive development renewed investor interest is always good news, especially if it targets key sectors like oil, gas, and infrastructure. That said, we need to be realistic. A pledge isn’t the same as an actual investment. We’ve heard big promises before that never went beyond the headlines. For an amount as huge as $300 billion, Nigerians deserve transparency what specific projects are involved, what stage are talks at, and how will it directly benefit our economy? The government’s recent reforms have improved investor sentiment, but real confidence comes from consistent policies, stable power, security, and accountability. In short, it’s encouraging news, but until we see real projects, capital inflows, and job creation, it remains a promising statement not yet a success story. |
I met this fine fair girl in Woji, Port Harcourt early last year. I went to visit one of my guys, and she was sitting outside her compound pressing her phone. At first glance, I just saw one quiet, decent-looking babe. You know those girls that look innocent and respectful? That was her. We started talking that day, and she was surprisingly easy to relate with. Within a week, we were already close. Everything about her was calm no drama, no unnecessary talk, always composed. I even told my guy say I don finally jam wife material. Even my parents liked her. The first time she came to visit, my mum couldn’t stop praising her. She helped in the kitchen, greeted everyone politely, and behaved like someone raised with good morals. My dad even joked that I shouldn’t waste time before she escapes. At first, everything was smooth. She always knew what to say, how to behave, and how to make me feel comfortable. But over time, I began to notice some strange things. This girl no get emotion. I’m serious. If I tell her something deep or painful, like when I lost my uncle, she’ll just say “Sorry dear,” with straight face and continue what she’s doing. No hug, no concern, nothing. But if I do something small that hurts her ego maybe I forget to call her or delay reply she’ll suddenly act emotional, start crying small, saying things like “You don’t love me anymore.” I later realized it was all performance. She also had this scary way of reading people. She’d meet someone once and already know what to say to get what she wanted. I saw her manipulate her friend one time without raising her voice just calm words and fake sympathy. When we argued, she’d use things I told her when I was vulnerable against me. She remembered every little thing I said and turned it around perfectly to make me feel guilty. I go end up apologizing for something I didn’t even do wrong. Outside, everybody thought she was perfect. My friends used to say, “Guy, no let that babe go o, she get sense.” Meanwhile, I was the one dying silently inside. When I finally decided to leave, she didn’t beg, didn’t even look surprised. She just smiled and said, “You’ll come back. People like you always do.” That line shook me to my core. This girl taught me something: not everyone who looks calm is peaceful. Some people are emotionally cold but know exactly how to pretend otherwise. They don’t feel emotions they study them and use them. Since then, I’ve learned that love without empathy will drain you. Some people are not violent, but the way they play with your mind go humble you. So when people talk about toxic relationships, I just laugh. Because not all toxicity comes from shouting and fighting. Some come quietly, in the form of peace that slowly destroys you. |
Chetas81:despite that 14k hectares is the size of a local government |
jchioma:You got the math wrong sis One hectare is 2.471 acres, not the other way around. So 14,000 hectares equals roughly 34,000 acres that’s not small land at all. We’re talking about around 140 square kilometres, which is actually bigger than Port Harcourt City (PHALGA) and about 14 times the size of Eko Atlantic. That’s why people are questioning it. It’s not just land it’s literally the size of a small city. |
They claim a 17-year-old boy bought 14,000 hectares of land that’s around 140 square kilometres. For context, Port Harcourt City (PHALGA) covers only about 109 km², so this supposed purchase is actually larger than the entire Port Harcourt city area. Even Eko Atlantic, one of the biggest urban developments in Nigeria, is only 10 km². So this land is 14 times bigger than Eko Atlantic and bigger than PHALGA itself. That alone makes the story highly suspicious. Now, even if we assume a cheap rate of ₦500,000 per hectare (which is unrealistically low), that’s still ₦7 billion. At ₦1 million per hectare, it jumps to ₦14 billion. No 17-year-old or even a so-called “yahoo boy” can legitimately afford that. So either the news is fake, or the landmass figure is exaggerated. No individual, especially a teenager, needs or can acquire land bigger than a whole local government area. Until verified documents or official statements are released, this story doesn’t add up. |
cr7lomo:The Middle East didn’t earn respect by begging for it; they earned it by controlling their resources and understanding their worth. That’s exactly what we need to do. Yes, our leaders have failed us, but that doesn’t define the whole race. Every region has faced corruption and exploitation; the difference is how they recover. Respect is not something we must chase it comes naturally when power and progress speak for us. And honestly, the white man’s respect won’t feed us or improve our lives. Africa is already rich in human talent, culture, and natural resources. We don’t need the white man for anything. What we need is discipline, unity, and the will to use what we already have. Once we value ourselves, every other opinion becomes irrelevant |
shegzhkn:I understand exactly how the world works I just refuse to see it through the lens of inferiority. The age of begging for equality is over. The world now runs on strength, innovation, and cultural pride. Equality is something the weak plead for; power is something the bold claim. Africans don’t need pity or approval we need focus, unity, and ambition. The day we start thinking like builders and not beggars is the day we rewrite the global order. |
cr7lomo:I honestly don’t understand why some of you act like the white man’s respect is oxygen. Whether they respect us or not changes nothing it won’t fix our economy, build roads, or make our leaders honest. If it’s their respect people are obsessed with, they can keep it; it’s overrated. White people are human beings, not gods their respect doesn’t determine anyone’s value. What matters is self-respect and building systems that work for us. The day we stop craving validation from others is the day real progress begins. |
SmartPolician:you’re putting too much premium on “white people’s respect” like it’s some magical currency. There’s nothing special about it. Whether they respect us or not doesn’t feed us, build our schools, fix our roads, or improve our lives. Their opinion doesn’t add or subtract from our value as human beings. What matters is how we build ourselves, our communities, and our systems. If we keep stressing over what outsiders think of us, we’ll keep chasing shadows instead of focusing on real progress. White people are not special; their respect is not the prize our development is. |
The Rivers State Government, South-South Nigeria, has called for the full utilisation of the Port Harcourt and Onne seaports, highlighting their potential to unlock jobs, attract investments, and drive industrial growth for both the state and the nation.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://von.gov.ng/rivers-state-government-seeks-full-utilisation-of-seaports/&ved=2ahUKEwjXrb3cz-6PAxXcxQIHHXECGA84ChDF9AEoAHoECA8QAQ&usg=AOvVaw2rXMAjaA8j3Y4vzr5BNWqe

Legally, during a state of emergency the President takes over authority of that state, and the administrator (like Ibas) reports to the National Assembly, not the state House. So Ibas is right that Rivers Assembly may not have direct powers to probe him But politically, refusing to show how ₦254bn was spent creates distrust. Even if the Assembly can’t compel him, a voluntary report would calm tensions and prove transparency In short legally Assembly has no strong case, but morally the public still deserves answers. |
White people came from monkeys and cave beasts while black people were created by God himself blacks are the superior humans while others are false humans |
Watin Aye dey find for portharcourt way Vikings dominate e no go surprise me say na Vikings give the security men the Intel on these Ayes |
Brethren, open your eyes! The Bible has already revealed the truth that the world hides. Black people are the original creation of God the only true humans. Anyone denying this is simply blind to Scripture. 1. Adam was formed from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7). What color is dust and rich soil? Dark, black, brown. God did not mold Adam from white sand. The first man was black, period. 2. Song of Solomon 1:5–6: “I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem.” Even the chosen people declared their blackness proudly in the Word. 3. Jeremiah 8:21: “For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.” The prophets themselves testified to their blackness. 4. Lamentations 5:10: “Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.” The Israelites, the chosen of God, are described as BLACK. 5. Revelation 1:14–15 (description of Christ): “His head and his hairs were white like wool… and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace.” Woolly hair? Burned brass skin? That is the description of a BLACK man. Christ is not white. 6. Daniel 7:9 (the Ancient of Days): Even God the Father is described with woolly hair only black people possess this texture naturally. Now tell me, if God is black, Christ is black, the prophets are black, Adam was black, who then are these pale-skinned people? They are not of God’s original creation. They are imitations, mutations, counterfeits. That is why they enslaved us, colonized us, and fight against us because they know we are the true image of God. WAKE UP, MY PEOPLE. Do not let them deceive you with their fake paintings of a white Jesus. God is BLACK, Jesus is BLACK, and we are His chosen. Others are not of Him! |
