Distributing TEN cassava stems and 200k grant to 10 farmers (maybe) isn’t empowerment and especially when it’s not that the region is facing food shortage related to the crop he distributed (cassava). I would have considered it an empowerment move if the stems were those of exotic cashcrops like cocoa or wheat or crops that aren’t easily found in the region (foreign) Cassava o or if they were crops that are in short supply in the region occasioned by a natural disaster (food shortage)
Same goes to the palliatives governor. Stop being a bigot who believes politicians from his region just can’t do wrong. That they are always right provided they are ibos. I’m sure you wouldn’t be this stubborn if the mumu was a Fulani or yoruba politician.

They won't share another one..because the produce will make them self reliant.

The support grant will be given to each individual farmer. It consists of 100k each and 100k worth of pesticides and other products ( no fertilizer) that is needed because these are high yielding stems.

It's an empowerment structure that dullards like you can't envisage. They didn't ask for Rice.. they asked for a direct impact resource.

So forget the stems you see.. and stop celebrating rice that you won't eat Next month.

I didn’t see the SME finance package you claimed he shared but going by your logic, was the 200k shared to all thousand/hundreds of farmers there and when it finishes, will he share another one?
This was how imps like you were defending one politician that distributed wheel barrows and another one that shared kerosene to his people and 5 hundred Naira to women who delivered in his healthcare facility.
Mind you, this is not me celebrating the so called palliative exercise being carried out by Ekiti state government but distributing stems of cassava and meager 200k (to a few farmers) isn’t support worth supporting and I’m dead sure you wouldn’t be supporting the rubbish if it was coming from a politician from other regions (say SW or North)

It would have been understandable and commendable if: they were foreign exotics ones, if the region was suffering from cassava shortage or if it was the stems of plants that are not easily seen or grown in the area (apple, Onion or northern Water melon)
