As things stands now with these current generation of people, I don't see any political alliance between the SW and SE.
It has been on record how the SE have always wanted to be force themselves as the southern leaders and anytime they can't have their way, they will resort to calling the SW all sorts of names. This has been happening since 1940s and there's no sign they're peddling down.
