A funny but shameful news spread across the University environment this morning.

An unidentified female student was reported to have been rushed to the University of Nigeria Medical Centre after the cucumber with which she was “doing” herself got stuck and broke inside her private part. The shameless girl spotted that her roommates were not in and decided to do “a quick one” with cucumber but cried out when the fruit got stuck in her “thing” and she started bleeding profusely. She was immediately rushed to the Medical Centre to get attention from Doctors. She was told by the doctors to provide her parents contact before she could be operated on but she refused and ran away.

This year will mark the 42nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, which established a woman’s constitutional right to abortion during the first trimester of her pregnancy.

According to recent statistics from Planned Parenthood’s Guttmacher Institute, there have been approximately 57 million legally induced abortions in the U.S. since 1973. And as a country, we’re still very much divided on the issue: Nearly half of Americans (more specifically, 47 percent) say they personally believe that it is morally wrong to have an abortion.

But despite the consequence this court ruling has had on women and their bodies, a Pew study from last year found that four out of 10 people (both men and women) don’t even know that Roe v. Wade has to do with abortion. Yikes. It looks like this topic was never covered in sex education class.

But the biggest problem with abortion actually has nothing to do with whether a woman is right or wrong for terminating her pregnancy—the problem is the stigma attached to it.

There’s a lot of misinformation floating around out there, so we’re here to debunk some of the biggest myths by presenting that by which anything controversial should be viewed with: The clear-cut facts.

1. An estimated 57 million legally induced abortions have been performed in the United States since 1973, the passing of Roe v. Wade.

To put this into perspective, that’s almost the current population of California and Texas combined.

2. Worldwide, approximately 205 million pregnancies occur every year.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, over a third are unintended and about a fifth end in induced abortion.

3. About 70,000 women die every year due to unsafe abortions.

And according to the 2009 report, countless more women are harmed as a result of these “back alley” abortions in countries where there are restrictive laws: mostly Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.

A family in Zimbabwe is currently in disarray after a Harare woman tried to snatch her sister’s husband.

According to H-Metro, stunning revelations are that Rose Naomi, 20, stashed some herbs in her privates to lure Lawrence Muvirimi so that he leaves his wife Loreta Kondo Muvirimi, 32.

The affair was publicly exposed after the two cheats’ WhatsApp conversation leaked.

Lawrence’s sister in law agreed to sleep with him for a cellphone and US$50.

Loreta first discovered Rose’s message to Lawrence questioning why he was on line. In suspicion,
Loreta said she then took Lawrence’s phone and started chatting with Rose, disguising to be Lawrence.

Whilst asking her leading questions, Loreta then found out that the two were having an adulterous affair.

“My husband came back from work around 4:30pm and I took his phone to charge it.

“That is when l realised that my sister’s chat was right on top which is really strange because l never hear from her so l decided to continue with the chat pretending to be my husband.

“I then found out that she was actually asking for money and a cell phone from him for sex,” said Loreta.

Loreta said she then informed her elder sister whom she teamed up with to trap Rose by arranging a fake meeting with Lawrence.

“Since I was the one who was in possession of my husband’s phone, I then told Rose to come to High-Glen shopping centre where I had promised to give her the phone and the money in exchange for sex.

From the way that she was dressed and how she was wearing makeup one could tell that she wanted to lure my husband.

“My elder sister and I left the car and instructed Rose through chat message to get inside the car and when she went inside we locked the doors,” said Loreta

Loreta said Rose wanted to use juju on Lawrence since she found herbs stashed in her private parts.

“I never thought your own sister can be that evil; we asked her why she was planning to have sex with my husband.
“She lied that there was no way she would have sex with him since she was on her menstrual period.
“We asked her to strip and when she stripped that was when we found juju stashed in her private part,” she said.

She also revealed this was not the first time that Rose made advances on her husband.

“When she was in form two, she once sent a message to my husband asking him to buy her panties,
“I didn’t take it seriously then because I thought she was childish to make such a request from him but I can see now that she was always after my husband,” she added.

Meanwhile, Rose denied having an affair with Lawrence but accused her sister of jealousy.

“I think my sister failed to understand the motives of the chat I had with her husband.
“I have my own husband and it was only a friendly conversation between me and my sister’s husband.
“She was only suspicious because l rarely chat with her but I talk to her husband,” she said.

When asked for comment Lawrence confirmed the relationship and said he was peer pressured to act that way by his workmates.

“Yes l was having flirting conversations with Rose and actually we started talking years ago.
“I was being influenced by my workmates to be in a relationship with her that is why we were sending all those messages to each other.
“I also feel that my mother-in-law was behind all this because she knew about my relationship with Rose because at one time I was using her phone to talk to Rose,” he said.

The chats + what the Facebook user wrote below..

We are no strangers to the abuses girls are plagued with all their lives. Most girls face these things right from secondary school and at the hands of hypersexual overreaching teachers and youth Corps members (one of the reasons I don't support the posting of inexperienced and irresponsible young boys to teach and abuse girls in secondary schools in the name of nysc).

What we have here is a case to show how deep we have snowballed. A young teacher, named Ndubuisi Vincent, takes mathematics at Nuco comprehensive secondary school, Uyo. He has been disturbing a student known as Idara Okon for sexual favours for a long time. He took his advances to Facebook and he sent the girl inappropriate messages. The girl could take it no further and she resolved to expose him by sharing screenshots of their conversations online. She tagged other teachers and the school management. I have uploaded the said conversations here as proof together with other screenshots surrounding the event.

I enjoin concerned Nigerians to fight against child abuse and female abuse. The girl child suffers too much in Nigeria. At 17, a girl should be focused on her books and passing WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and any other exam that Nigeria plagues her with, and not sleeping with randy male teachers who have nothing to offer. I seize this medium to warn all those partaking in this great injustice, at all levels, to desist from it. Those who do this forget the law of karma. They'll soon have daughters of their own. Apart from that, they forget that the world is becoming better oriented and advanced. As for the guilty ones, learn from this and know that your time is coming. Trust me when I say you won't believe it when it happens.

This young teacher needs to be punished and prosecuted for child abuse, breach of trust and any other crime he has committed. Let his case serve as a detterent for others who engage in questionable acts such as this. The next people that will be served like this are randy male corpers who abuse people's children in the name of serving the country. To those corpers, I say "big brother is watching you"!
