Please is it possible to transfer from Marketing to Accounting Department at Uniport, if so, at what level, cost and is it a tedious procedure.

All thanks to God for this double blessing, now it requires careful decision making. Please kindly advise me on which of them has the highest prospect and reputation. I love Uniport but they gave me alternative course instead of Accounting in their supplementary list, while Rivers State University of Science & Technology (RSUST) gave me Banking & Finance (my 2nd choice), I hate UST because of their constant strike.

Pls, my younger brother scored 167 for sociology on the day of exam but they posted 136 online later and 183 for Management and they posted 112 online as well. Could it be cos he registered both 1st and 2nd choice. Someone who registered both choices experienced same thing. Pls I need your advice as he needs this admission seriously.

My dear, u are not confused at all, this is manifestation of a 'dead conscience' If I may ask you, what have you done since you met him to upgrade his status?, e.g. encourage him to undergo trainings that can elevate his status, further his education. Just give him a push, u will see he will discover the importance of education and maintaining a good status or level with you.

If you dump him without improving on his status, God will never forgive you. Even if you wouldn't want to marry him, leave a positive impact in his life, take him to a level that he will be able to meet people of your 'NEW STATUS/LEVEL'. But pls don't use threat to encourage him, e.g. if you don't I will leave you, no no no no.... This world is a very very very small place, be cautious of ur actions towards others today, cos u don't have control of tomorrow.

@Yamakuza, NEBOSH IGC has become a minimum requirement for those wanting to be health and safety practitioners and recently, employers of labour also indicate this while advertising such jobs. If one should attend the NEBOSH class and subsequently pass the exams, it means that the individual understands the regulations, acts and laws both nationally and internationally applicable to occupational health and safety. It also indicates the individual understands international best practices. I have seen employers who would prefer to employ a fresh graduate with nebosh IGC and allow him to grow with the organization which means its an added advantage for health and safety job seekers.

Though it is a superb support for the man in the field already but it is now a requirement. We have had the opportunity to source for safety officers for organizations both in Nigeria and Kuwait and frankly these employers only requested for those with nebosh IGC and two years experience. If you don't have a nebosh IGC and get a job as a safety officer, you would also learn from the job, but with nebosh IGC, getting the job is easier because it is a requirement and getting the experience while you work would be easier and believe me a fresh graduate with NISP level 3 safety awareness cannot compete with a fresh graduate with nebosh IGC in terms of employment.

Hello,
You will take a copy of your semester result, WAEC, course registration form, school ID card. They lookout for all these before allowing you to write the exam, but I don't really know if they scrutinize the CGPA there or investigate it through the school before the award. Whichever way, just be there. Goodluck!
