But i hope thats not d case here. Lots of folks have resigned already, Sad.

PoliticsRe: Fuel Scarcity In Nigeria December 2017: Live Updates & Photos From Your Area by King0071: 2:05pm On Dec 23, 2017
I cant even try to take a pics cos the line is just endless. The Q here is over a km long in Yola.

Lemme think like Lord Peter Baelish.

Who stands to gain from this sudden scarcity?
Was it planned?
Whats the point?
When will it end?
How can we prevent future scarcity?
PoliticsRe: 7.9m Job Loss: "May God Judge 18 Million Mumus That Voted This Old Beast" - FFK by King0071: 1:56pm On Dec 23, 2017
FFK can say whatever he wants. Truth is he is not the President. He can criticize all he wants. He is not the solution. The problem is we dont learn. Same mistakes every time.
People are really going thru a lot of hardships.
I dey vex sumtimes wen i see some 9ja music videos promoting sex, money and big yan#h. When they shuld try and use their talents to put pressure and raise standards. FFK dey try sha.
PMB needs to quickly adres state of the nation.
And pls, no need to be insulting one anoda, na FG wuna suppose dey aim all dis anger at.

PoliticsRe: Residents Flee Numan, Adamawa Over Soldiers & Fulani Clash (Photos) by King0071: 5:23pm On Dec 02, 2017
Just bad news.
Just keep wondering how Nigeria can possibly ever achieve even 20% of its potential.
With all the increase in churches and mosques, the violence and immorality in the region keeps increasing too.
I cant blame the fulanis though. I cant blame anyone but Lord Luggard and co.
You want to store rice, beans , sugar and yam in the same bag? How ?
The diversity is too much.
That is thier way of life. Best to avoid any form of conflict with such.
People just need to be educated. I doubt any educated person will carry a gun or sword and start killing for sport.
A solution needs to be found.
Such things happening in the country and one will ask why youths are trying to migrate in any way possible.
This is sad.
PropertiesRe: Would You Give Up Social Media To Live In This Mansion? by King0071: 5:00pm On Dec 02, 2017
There was once a time when smartphones didnt exist. People still had family and friends. People still enjoyed life to the fullest and lived long and healthy. I will gladly give up my phone sef. I know internet and social media can be fun and very useful in todays modern world, but i also know it can done without. Some peoples lives and potential have been uplifted by internet, while others have been destroyed because of he same internet. Truth is i will even throw my laptop join and satellite and TVs and PS4. Am sure a house like that has a huge library.

I just spoke to Mr. Anjola some minutes ago and he confirmed that there was an email glitch and those who are supposed to resume would get a mail soon.
I however pointed out that those who did medicals and documentation and haven't received mails are scared, but he reassured me that things are under control and people should not be scared.
Mr Anjola cnfirmed an email glitch. Ok.
Email Glitch?
I keep wandering why it wasnt a deposit of 1million naira glitch. smiley
Glitch or no glitch, things are under control.

Na wa oo. FBN which way nau?

If na NNPC, i fit understand.
This kind magic, i laugh in parables.
If it was a mistake, why didnt they also make mistake and send 1 million naira to our accounts too?

I dont think its a mistake that this happened.
If i say it is, then those hu got mail may feel i no be good person, if i say it isnt, person fit talk say i dey insinuate say APC don take over gan.

Anywhich ways, congrats to those hu got mail. To the rest, keep ur head up. Hope for the best God has planned for u.

I know some peeps are confused and restless and in doubts and all, but i bliv they will still call for AC, and Medical and TS in due time. Even if na by mistake or not, those who are destined to be there will BE THERE.

Bank Job is the new hot cake.
Heard sumthin is up with DPR login page, am yet to check it out. All the other federal openings still ongoing. So everyone, dont give up.
When there is life, there is hope.

Look at the brighter side to this , at least, no more insults on the thread. lol.

God bless us all.

A friend who called his contact in FB was reliably told that TS won't start until Jan 08.

I seriously hope this isn't true, but life continues.

All will be well, all is well.
I do not like such news. Maybe i am the only one. But i really hope TS is this year. Why call for documentation and medical if TS would be next year? I am sure some people might have already given there resignation notice to that effect. Its not that easy to find a job worth your time and effort to keep busy while waiting for TS to call. At this juncture Firstbank will loose some very good and talented young individuals with this delay because if any one is able to get a good job with security and prospects, my advice will be to take it and forget TS. Even NPF didnt take this long, did it?

Hope for the best. Best of the to you all. Goodmorning.

Quick question guys, how strict is FBN with issues of age with GT. My friend is 1988 and he keeps arguing with me that he'll scale through documentation.

P.S I am still awaiting AC and he's feeling like am being jealous of him that had already done his AC and awaiting documentation mail. Thanks
I know they can be very strict when it comes to age.
Since he has was inivited for documentation, i wuld like to bliv he has scaled through, except he is way older or he doesnt have complete/original documents or he has a health problem, otherwise i think he is home free.
As for u, just get to the nearest phamarcy and get extra chill pill, very soon by Gods grace, u will be invited for AC. Just use this period to practice and prepare. All the very best.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by King0071: 7:53pm On Oct 06, 2017
For those still awaiting AC, dont give up hope. Just keep your mind active and have a positive mentality.
AC is actually fun. From one stage to the next. Just use your time to prep for it properly.
You can also try applying other banks like Wema or Eco.
As for my fellow TS hopefuls, 1st week oct is done. With each passing week, we get closer to TS. God will see us through.
By the way, how many suits shuld sum1 take? huh

Guys hold on till u get there. The se guys re doing a crash course that is y the classes re long. They were supposed to be there for 2months but is now bn squeezed into one month, monday to Saturday. Gt is 3months tho might be reduced to 2months. But Monday to Friday and ends 4pm.there isn't even time for recreational activities for them, cos d pool and court re currently under construction. Everyone will not be accommodated if Gt is more than 200. U can go out for two weeks or more if u want but classes or exams u would miss during dat period will not be taken again. Dress code is no issue, just dress corporately d way a banker should and Fridays dressings re relaxed ie smart casual. Keep ur but shorts and boxers for room matters. Concentrate and read cos pple re normally dropped. Food is usually 5star level with deserts including tea breaks, sometimes desert will be ice cream too. Keep calm and pray
I am begining to look forward to the food more than the training. Lol.
But what of laudry? Hope dey have laundry service.
I just wonder how i will cope cos i am not grounded in anything banking or finance.

8am to 6pm is long ooo.

Car TalkRe: Car Models You Should Avoid As Second Or Third Handed Acquisition.... by King0071: 10:04am On Sep 23, 2017
vertueptime:
Yes but u will change the engine, gear box, brainbox , Ecu, key, some plenty wiring, programming, engine seats (4), construct and weld the engine seat then pay labor, it will take about a month to completely finish then u go pay labor, we are looking at about 400k here , cool?
Did Something similar May this year with my Toyota Corolla Verso.
The car came with an MMT gear box system commonly known as Clutch-gear or automanual by mechanics.
The model has a default problem, when you hav used it for over 2 year and long distance(lets say 8k km) it starts to disengage from E to N by itself.
Managed to fix it temp last year but had to completely change the gear box to full auto of corrollla. Other tins such as cable, brainbox and other weldings had to be done. I spent approx 200k. My mech was really good.
Since then, i hv really been enjoying the car smoothly.

I think some cars are just better for 9ja roads. But its always safer to get a car that the mechanics around can handle if ever the need.
In this Buharis Regime, nobody needs a car that will be a liability.
Good topic at OP.

I read previously on this thread that during TS, you recieve a stipend of about 45000, and i think that was for the last TS set at 2014.
I hope the money will be more considering my Hollandia 1ltr is now 500 naira thanx to CHANGE.

Hi All. First time posting here. Been silently following the thread.

I had my documentation and medical in Abuja.
And there is a certain lady from Bauchi/Kaduna that also spies on this thread without commenting. I know she is now laughing. wink

For all those awaiting TS, hopefully its gonna be soon.
I just need some clarity on what to take along.

For those waiting for AC, just keep at it. I believe you would also be called soon.
