Evening Car Gurus.

My car is having transmission problem. When driving, the D light starts to blink and it goes numb, and starts revving like it was on Neutral. I would have to stop, turn off the car and start again, until it happens again in few minutes or sometimes seconds. Please HELP!

Yeah, maybe😅 He did say if it was too quiet for me he could increase it. Oh well...

Also, is there any auto shop in Abuja I could go to? My transmission is faulty. The D light blinks and it frees itself like it was on neutral, revving as I drive.

I would have to turn off the car and put it back on.

How did your mechanic reduce it?

Hi! I do know that rpm can be adjusted and the degree to the adjustment influences the engine noise. How he did it, I don't know. The rpm normally was about 1200, he reduced it to 600, and the noise stopped. At least, my neighbors won't know anytime I want to leave the house. Is this bad??

I have an inquiry to make. My 2003 honda accord engine is loud when I start it, so I had my mechanic reduce the rpm to about 600, and the engine sound is much quiet now.

Does this pose a danger to my engine?

your transmission is slipping. Check your transmission oil, if it at the right guage. Also does your transmission oil smell burnt,what is the colour of the oil?

Thanks for the reply. I already changed transmission oil earlier this week. I used jesco. I do this every there years. Still no results. The oil changed was dark.

Good evening everyone. I have a pressing issue I hope to get help with. I believe my car to be having a transmission problem. When driving, the car suddenly goes numb like it was on neutral and my foot on the throttle makes the car rev. I would have to stop and restart the car to continue until it repeats itself, within seconds, or some minutes.

Sometimes, the D light in the dashboard blinks when this happens.

The car is a Honda accord 03. Appreciate any help.
