This is the mistake many intelligent people make.

Choose a school you will go and make 1st class easily. Not the ones you will see crowd and lecturers that won't set what they taught.

A private university is your best bet. You will have access to a good library, and you won't skip lectures. Everything will go well for you and easy learning.

I had a friend like that. We were very intelligent. We read and solved questions together. We even finished the scheme of work while on holidays. We made good scores in Jamb.

He went to a private university, while I went to one of these federal universities. He made 1st class easily, while I made 2'1. Despite my reading and studying habit. Everything about my life then was school, book, solve , read and answer. After church, na book straight.

Lectures hardly set what they taught. I knew I bleeped up and started regretting why I didn't choose a private university. I'm the type of guy who doesn't sort or engage in copying or group work.

My advice for you is when you have gained your admission, find out the best student in year 2 with the best result, and try to ask him about the lectures and what courses might be difficult for you. Learn things from his story and be optimistic.

Honestly this country still have a long way to go. If it were to be any developed countries, u would see helicopters flying around the scene in less than 1 hour. The African mentality is something else

More like when the boat was capsizing, a number would be called and then, boom, helicopter and other boats come for rescue. Poor leaders and educated-illetrates finished us.

Na work full everybody head. People find it hard to create a day to improve themselves on some special skills or activities.


U no see the White? The first time I swam, I nearly ran out of air. Thank God I mastered the technique.

Learning the basic form of swimming could have saved.

I am sure calls were made the moment the boat began to capsize. Just a survival swimming technique to remain afloat in water till help comes could have saved since there was no lifejacket.

If you have children ages 11-16, make sure they learn how to swim. Once you learn the technique, it remains with you till death.

Cus many Nigerians are dumb.

When you push them to the wall, the make a hole through the wall.

I learned how to swim in a swamp. I know about 4 skills, the arms stroke, the leg kick, the butter fly, the frog kick. I can also lay my back on the water while floating.

That technique alone, the back on water is a life saver.

Just because some people died, they now know they will come out to speak.

That's one thing with Nigerians. They won't consider safety first.
