Empire’ is facing yet another lawsuit — this time from kids who claim that production of the show disrupted their learning environment and created setbacks for their education.

The kids are teenage juvenile detention center inmates in Chicago … and they say their home away from home was upset when Terrence Howard and Chris Rock swooped in last year to shoot scenes for season two’s premiere episodes.
According to them all the kids at Cook Co. Juvenile Temporary Detention Center were put on lockdown — held in cells and pods — during nearly 2 weeks of shooting. While in lockdown, they had no access to the rec yard, library, and chapel … and family visits were interrupted.
The teens say their education was turned upside down too because although teachers were sent to cells and pods … they say the tutoring was not effective. As they put it, “This was ‘school’ in name only,” and often times “chaotic.”
The teen inmates have boned up on TV accounting too — they point out the “Empire” episodes made a ton of cash … up to $750k per 30 second commercial, and they want a cut. They’ve filed the class action suit against FOX, Cook County and the warden.
FOX had no comment on the lawsuit.

Every 15th August Catholics all over the world celebrate the feast of the assumption of our blessed virgin Mary into heaven. This feast comes with a holiday from work as it called a holy day of obligation and it is observed as a Sunday.

Now my question is Catholics who are government workers, are they given a one day leave from work or they have to apply for the leave. If so, are they even granted the leave or they choose to miss work for the day.

First, I am not a political analyst, but a concerned citizen who wants a better country for his children and children's children.
With what is happening in our country today, you can rightly say that we have come to the end of the journey of one Nigeria. You may be wrong too because the taste of fire makes the steel what it is.
Why is it that majority of times we hear 'The North', 'the Northerner's', 'the northern governors' and so on, but when we come to the south we hear 'South-south', 'South-east', 'South-north' (if there is anything like that), and so on?
I believe that for us to be taken seriously,like the North, we have to behave like them and by that I mean UNITY.
An example is; if in the South we don't stop this State of origin of a thing when we are looking for employment in the south not to talk of North, then we are on a very long road. It will be a start.
Like I said, am not an analyst, so I stand to be corrected and not insulted.
Unity is the key, United we stand.
