I use a dc fan . It depends on d type of fan, with more load d time reduces o. If u can get those 10w portable fan then u are good to go.

What duration does the battery last?

It depends on d load. On 1 flatscreen tv 32 inches and 4 bulbs, I do get upto 8 hrs before d battery goes flat.
