Create a caretaker government comprising of 6 Regional Governor Generals whose task it is within 1 year to achieve the following in their regions ...

1. Reduce operational corruption and financial theft by 50%

2. Double GDP by 50%

3. Create 5m jobs that pays a minimum of N100,000 to each person.

4. Ensure power supply for at least 15 hours daily.

5. Reduce crime by 30%

Let who ever is able to achieve this or the best amongst the 6 move on to be the President.

Let every siting President mid-wife this while an independent board made up of men and women of integrity be set up to evaluate and score these 6 regional leaders whose governors would be answerable to at that time.

The siting President would change from been an executive to being a ceremonial President as the 5th year is technically not his tenure. The Regional Governor Generals should be the executes of these regions with full Presidential powers.

Let the cycle be repeated every 4 years.

In 20 years time, Nigeria's economy would be the 3rd largest economy in the world. Poverty and crime would have reduced to a single digit and prosperity would be for all.

This is the best method and a cost effective way to select the most important Position in Nigeria.

Let us learn from nature. Exotic Flowers are always planted in Nursery before being transplanted into the open Field. Let us test these people and let their result speak for them. Let competition for the ultimate price drive all of them to excellence. When all the Regions develop, Nigeria has developed.

This should be our own form of democracy. It's time to end these tribal and religious nonsense! We should practice meritocracy for us to really enjoy the dividends of democracy.
