The Despatcher has only the Scammer's number but thinks it's the Buyer's number.

The Buyer only has the Scammer's number (as the Seller).

The Despatcher & the Buyer don't have each other's number.
So the Scammer will stay in another location & be trying to link up the Despatcher with the Buyer.
It doesn't work that way.

In reality the Buyer & the Despatcher will be calling each other to meet in a designated place. Not that they will be linked up by someone else.

So how will the Despatcher identify the Buyer if he is not physically seeing him answering the phone as he is calling his number (Scammer's number)? That's already a red flag.

Even if they cross that huddle, the Buyer will make transfer in the Despatcher'presence. There is no way the Despatcher will be watching him make transfer without interrupting him to show him the Seller's real bank details.

Even the tag on the parcel will contain the Buyer's Name but the Scammer's Number instead of the Buyer's Number.
The whole thing doesn't look realistically possible.

You have a point but concerning the issue of recognition and location. All the scammer has to do is confirm where the meet up will be with the dispatch rider and pass that information to the buyer. He'll also describe the despatch rider to the buyer and the buyer to the despatch rider. Concerning the issue of payment, the only way it wouldn't work out is if the dispatch rider provides the account information.

The seller only has contact with the scammer but the seller doesn't know that the scammer is actually trying to scam someone else.

The scammer will know the dispatch has arrived because the seller (who thinks it's an actual buyer) will provide the scammer's number to the dispatch
rider.

Once the dispatch rider calls the scammer, the scammer will tell him to wait for him.
While the dispatch rider waits, the scammer will call the buyer to tell him to meet up with the dispatch rider and make payment to whatever account the scammer provides.

Note: The seller cannot contact the actual buyer because the scammer is posing as the real buyer. He's only using the buyer's address and not the buyer's number.
