Freebuzz:If you say so but Sending a blank message is like talking without saying any words. Even the guys the wrote the code for whatsapp didnt find this necessary, did you write this application yourself? |
This is quite funny because a message is supposed to be a means of communication so why send an empty message? Op abeg explain is it supposed to be some sort of prank or even if i dont have anything to say, i should just send this... Ayam not understanding!!! |
Hello, please anyone currently at St. Clouds State University in Minnesota should kindly quote me, heading there in Fall and i need to make some enquiries first hand from someone there already. Thanks |
Brown2Green: Brown2Green:I really admire your matured responses. Its a known fact on here that twoods can be annoying more often than not in his delivery of messages but that doesnt mean his points are invalid or give anyone the right to call people azzlickaz. We all have different perspectives and we should learn to filter the information we think is useful to us from the 'cockiness' of people like twoods' responses. When i just stumbled on this thread, I had an altercation with this same twoods when he tried telling me something reasonable in his usual 'nwaamaikpe' attitude and i didnt find it funny but i eventually found myself doing exactly what he was trying to tell me to do which was reading the thread from the first page and that helped tremendously in securing my visa. So for that person talking about azzlicking, yes sure like brown2green just said, its better to be that and get enlightened. |
naira0:Lol seconded. Oga Twoods welcome back, our very own 'nwaamaikpe', says it exactly as it is without mincing words but mostly misjudged because of the tone of the message like naira0 said. I for one have really missed your input on this thread and glad to have you back. |
afeezzezo:Yessur!!! Already got my visa approved i posted my transcript on this thread a while ago. Congratulations to all the others who got approved recently, Good luck to those prepping for their interview soon. |
afeezzezo:I had a similar situation as well and yes most Ghana private schools are under government schools, in my case, it was the private school that issued me the transcript after graduation and when i needed to send for evaluation, it was also the private school i contacted and they sent it directly to the evaluation company. |
Nice |
frbona:Lol that was quite harsh but these guys and their cheap scam is getting annoying, i wonder if anyone still falls for it. |
Swap with samsung s6? |
1stdami:A little north of 10 million |
ProYouWebsiteUK:No, didnt write and I wasnt asked |
ProYouWebsiteUK:Yes I really am excited thanks, I wrote TOEFL but the VO never asked me about that. |
Sosao:Computer and Information Systems Security/ Information Assurance |
sharwama:Lol glad you learnt something. You brought up the topic of killing a cow and yes i love 'mooing' in my dreams dont worry, okay at least can I get a Sharwama? At least that shouldnt be so difficult as you have it already somehow |
Abdulrahmon68:Wow, you are going to St Clouds as well, thats great, I wish you the best bro i hope you also get yours as well. Sorry i just update my email address when I.noticed I got mail and i couldnt read it because I dont have access to that email address anymore, you can resend now that I have updated |
sharwama:Haha thanks I appreciate..I already posted the transcript although I dont mind the cow from you to celebrate this lol. |
kinibd:I was denied the first time on December 31st 2018 at the Lagos Embassy, My original I 20 got to me on the 2nd of January and so I had to go with a scanned copy for the interview and the first question the VO asked me then was why did I come with a scanned copy, I told her that the original was still on transit and the look on her face was not encouraging and after asking me why this school and who will be sponsoring me, I got the pink paper and so I went back and requested for another I 20, made sure I got it then booked another interview at abuja Got to the Abuja Embassy, Me: Good morning (while smiling) VO: Good morning pass me your passport please Me: Passes Pasport while still smiling VO: I can see from your F1 that you are applying for a student Visa can I see that Me: Yes I am while passing the F1 VO: Have you ever been out of the country before? Me : Yes I had my first degree in Ghana VO: What did you study Me: ICT VO: What? Me: Information and Communication Technology VO: while typing...I dont see anything like that here Me : I filled it in it should be there VO: Oh i see it now...calls the name of my school and I nod then he asks how many schools gave me admission Me : two schools VO: what schools Me: St Clouds State University and Concordia University St Paul VO: Why did you choose St Clouds Me: i chose St Clouds because of a couple of reasons, firstly they have a Business Computer Research Laboratory Equipped with workstations and enterprise level servers for research and teaching purposes and... VO : cuts me off, yes well all schools in the usa have very good laboratories tell me why you chose this school Me: well at the Laboratories at St Cloud, they create virtual machines that are used to support teaching database auditing and networking packets dumping and analyses and also... VO: cuts me off again...well most schools have that as well Me: Oh well then i chose them because they gave me a scholarship VO: oh really, (looks at my I 20) well your scholarship is for $3000 and your total fees is about 19,000, how are you going to take care of the rest Me: oh no, my Tuition and Fees is $9,500 VO: looks at I 20 again, okay so who is going to be paying for the rest Me: My Parents VO: what do they do Me: My mom whose statement I have is blablabla VO: I'm sorry what? Me: my mom is blablabla and my dad is blablabla VO: How did you hear about the school? Me: One of my undergraduate course lecturer went to St. Clouds for a seminar and when he came back, he couldnt stop talking about the school and their laboratories and when i started searching for schools online to pursue my masters degree and St Cloud popped up again, i checked them out and the course they offered alligned with my career goals. VO: Types for a while. Looks at me. So what are you going to be doing after you finish this program? Me: The number of internet users in Nigeria has grown from about 20% of the population in 2010 to more than 50% of the population today and the more people that use the internet, the more networks there are, the more security there needs to be on them, this course will help me institute policies that protect organizations physical data and digital information and so i could become an IT consultant, I know i can, i tried to infuse what i learnt in my under graduate studies into my dads business by setting up a website and also creating a program that helps keep track of stock records. VO: Can i see your bank statement Me: passes it VO: I am going to check this out and if I find anything wrong you will be banned from entering the USA, do you understand Me: yes I do. VO: types for a while, take this paper, (he gives me a white slip) you have to keep it safe because you will need it to enter the United States. Then he types for a while and gives me a yellow paper and says again if i find anything wrong with this account you will be banned, are you sure you still want to submit it Me: Yes Sir VO: okay welcome to the United States and make sure you keep that white slip safe ok Me (while smiling) : okay sir thank you very much. I hope this helps someone, I owe it all to God, I prayed like I had not prepared at all and I prepared like I had not prayed at all but its all the grace of God. Last Bullet: I was so tensed the first time and so while rehearsing my answers for the second time, i noticed that smiling made me more relaxed and that was how i was able to overcome any nervousness, by smiling almost all through the interview. |
kinibd:Just got a message that my passport is ready for collection and when I checked, the status has been changed to Issued. I give God all the glory, transcript loading... |
fairheart:Yes the VO took my sponsors statement and of course I will post my transcript immediately the status has changed. Thanks |
Olalekank:Thanks bro, although i hope its not too early to wish me that, still on Administrative Processing as at this morning so just keeping fingers crossed and its a good sign that you used my beloved Arsenal team to congratulate me and most especially my favorite Aubameyang(his goal saved us against Watford, our away form always scares me and i was glad we didnt drop any points after that game). |
Okeyogwo:I went to the Abuja Embassy, I had been denied at the Lagos embassy back in December though, i would try to add a little bit of that part of the story when I am posting my interview transcript, hopefully when the status has been changed. Umm, about discussing privately, i think its better you ask whatever you need to know on here, there will be someone who knows better than I do for sure, there are so many gurus in the house trust me, most of the things that helped me I got it from on here by reading peoples views and comments and filtering it to know what you neer and what you dont, no one knows it all, no man is an island of knowledge, i hope you understand bro |
LagosismyHome:Thanks, you are one of the people on here who says things as they are, no mincing of words and thats a very good thing for people who know what they really want. twoods is my second favorite after you. Cheers |
olashile83:Swap with s6? |
I was placed on administrative processing yesterday, I am just wanting to see what it changes to before I post my interview transcript here for anyone who might learn anything from it, thanks to the whole family on this thread, although i am silent reader, i really learnt alot, kudos to twoods(bro where you at?), lagosismyhome and everyone contributing positively to this thread. |
