It can be repaired or replaced, I always prefer the latter, as it's cleaner to do, and doesn't get messy. it's as clean as replacing a light bulb. But, Will require the whole board replacement, so it carries a cost.

I got it repaired from Hisense office....it was pricey but worth it.

You used inferior HDMI cables, or they've deteriorated.
HDMI cable can cause severe damage to individual components on your tv

What's the way to go about it?...how can It be fixed?...any ideas?

I have a Hisense A5100....the HDMI ports don't work....I don't know if it can be fixed and the cost....the other other ports like the av and flash drive ports work fine.
