The Rivers State Executive Council has revoked the ₦134 billion contract previously awarded for the renovation, electro-fitting, and furnishing of the State Secretariat Complex.

Briefing the press after today’s council meeting held at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, Dr. Austin Ezekiel-Hart, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works, revealed that the council also directed the contractor, CCECC, to refund the ₦20 billion mobilization fee already disbursed. He further noted that the council approved the revalidation of the bidding process for all four related contracts, which were earlier advertised in national newspapers on February 19, 2025.

Dangote Refinery Sacks All Nigerian Workers Less Than 24 Hours After Joining PENGASSAN — Union Vows Recall
