The objectives of the programme are to:


Provide a framework for assigning postgraduate students from diverse academic backgrounds to WHO programmes that can enhance their educational experience through practical assignments.
Expose students to the work of WHO.
Provide WHO programmes with input from students specializing in various fields. Most students are placed in health-related programmes, although other disciplines can be considered as appropriate such as communication, external relations or human resources.
The duration of WHO Internship Programme 2020 is between six to twenty four weeks depending on the needs of the WHO technical unit and the intern’s availability.

Benefits

As of January 2020, WHO provides stipends to students who need support. After selection, the interns will fill a disclosure form to indicate if they already have support (grant / scholarships, etc.). Based on this disclosure form, WHO will provide stipends up to a specific amount per duty station. The amount will be indicated for each position the students apply to.
WHO provides to all interns a medical and accident insurance. All costs of travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the intern candidate.
Eligibility

You are at least twenty years of age on the date of application.
You are enrolled in a course of study at a university or equivalent institution leading to a formal qualification (graduate or postgraduate) (applicants who have already graduated may also qualify for consideration provided that they apply to the internship within six months after completion of their formal qualification).
You have completed three years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution prior to commencing (bachelor’s level or equivalent) the assignment.

The activities covered by the Central Bank of Nigeria Agric, Small and Medium Enterprise Scheme, AGSMEIS Loan includes;

Businesses across the agricultural value chain covering inputs supply, production, storage, processing, logistics and marketing. MSMEs in the real sector including manufacturing, mining and petrochemicals.
MSMEs in the service sector including information and communication technology (ICT) and the creative industry. Other activities as may be determined by the Bankers’ Committee from time to time.

Now to access AGSMEIS loan, there are some conditions that must be met.

Interested applicant must have been trained by an Entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI)
Interested applicant will apply for loan via an EDI
The applications will then be sent to CBN for processing
Applicants will be called for an interview regarding his/her business.
Those qualified will be contacted and given the loan.

The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) is now accepting applications from young talents for its 2020 Scholarship programme. The deadline for submission of applications for the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) Scholarship is 31st March, 2020.

The ANSO Scholarship provides young students/scholars who are non-Chinese citizens an opportunity to pursue postgraduate education at the colleges or schools of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) or institutes of CAS around China.


It consists of 2 programs: the Master program and the PhD program. Every year, up to 200 master students and 300 PhD students from all over the world will be sponsored to study in CAS.

Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) was initiated and established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and other 36 scientific institutes as well as international organizations worldwide. ANSO was founded to improve regional and global capacity in science and technology, human livelihoods and wellbeing, and to promote broader S&T cooperation and communication.

According to the ANSO Strategic Plan, the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents is launched for the training and cultivation of young scientists from all over the world.

ANSO Scholarship Eligibility.
Applicants must:

Not hold Chinese citizenship;
Provide proof of proficiency of English or Chinese language;
For Master program applicants: be maximum age of 30 years on 31 December 2020;
For PhD program applicants: be maximum age of 35 years on 31 December 2020;
Meet the admission criteria for international students of USTC/UCAS;
Not take up other assignments during the period of his/her scholarship.
ANSO Scholarship 2020 Benefits.
Awardees will receive a monthly stipend from CAS through USTC/UCAS. Specifically, master awardees will receive a monthly stipend of RMB 3000, while PhD awardees will receive a monthly stipend of RMB 6000 or RMB 7000 depending on whether he/she has passed the qualification test arranged by USTC/UCAS for all doctoral candidates after admission.

All the awardees will also be provided with health insurance as well as tuition and application fee waivers.



A certain amount of travel subsidy from their home countries to China will be provided to the awardees in order to begin the scholarship in China (one trip only per person). Any scholarship awardee on site in China, the host country, at the time of application will NOT be eligible for any travel subsidy.

Only candidates who score a minimum of 180 (for Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Military Science & Interdisciplinary Studies) and 210 (for Faculty of Engineering) in JAMB 2020 examination shall be offered admission into NDA by the AFSB.

St Antony’s College, University of Oxford, in partnership with the international integrated energy company Eni, is offering up to three students from Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, or the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) the opportunity to study for a fully funded degree in 2020/21.

This scholarships will allow St Antony’s to admit up to three of the best African students irrespective of means and will add immeasurably to the diverse and intellectual character of the College. This is part of a joint initiative between Eni & St Antony’s College to invest in and strengthen African leadership.



St Antony’s and Eni are equally keen to provide encouragement and where possible, structured incentives for Eni Scholars to continue their studies or find useful employment back in their home country after graduating from Oxford.

Scholarship

The scholarship provides 100% of university and college fees, and an annual grant for living costs of £14,553 for 12 month courses and £10,915 for 9 month courses. The stipend for courses with different durations will be adjusted accordingly.
The scholarship also covers one economy return airfare from your home country to the UK at the start and end of your course.
Eligbility

The scholarships are open to applicants who are ordinarily resident in Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, and the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). Preference will be given to applicants whose first degree is from an African university.

Selection Process

The participants in the Graduate Study Programme are selected by a Selection Committee composed of officials of the United Nations Office at Geneva with various backgrounds and professional experiences.

The Selection Committee is guided by the following criteria:

Knowledge of the two working languages of the Programme (English and French)
