Hello Nairaland,
We are Kiyosetcode, a web design and development team focused on helping businesses build clean, modern, and functional digital products.

Our services include website creation, UI/UX design, and full-stack development for startups, e-commerce brands, and growing businesses that need a strong online presence. We work on both the visual side and the technical side of projects, so clients get designs that look professional and websites that perform well.

Over time, we have worked on different types of projects, including startup websites, online stores, business landing pages, and custom web applications. Our goal is to create websites that are not only attractive, but also user-friendly, fast, responsive, and built to support business growth.

We are open to website design, UI/UX projects, full-stack development, and e-commerce builds.

BusinessKiyosetcode Launches New Startup “chatops” — A Smart Whatsapp Crm For Businesses by Kiyosetcode2(op): 11:18pm On Apr 03
Hello guys 👋

Big update from the tech space 🚀

Kiyosetcode, a fast-rising tech company, is officially preparing to launch a new startup called ChatOps, and this one is looking like a game-changer for businesses that rely heavily on WhatsApp.

The company is led by Alvan Esiaka, who is also the founder of ChatOps — and from what we’re seeing so far, this product is built to solve a very real and common problem.

❗ THE PROBLEM

Many small businesses, vendors, and online sellers run their entire operations on WhatsApp:

• Customer inquiries
• Orders
• Follow-ups
• Payments

But as messages increase, things start getting messy:

❌ Important messages get lost
❌ Orders are hard to track
❌ Customers are not organized
❌ Business owners keep scrolling endlessly

💡 THE SOLUTION — CHATOPS

ChatOps is a smart system that turns normal WhatsApp chats into a fully organized business dashboard.

The best part?

👉 Customers don’t need to download anything new
👉 They keep chatting normally on WhatsApp

But behind the scenes…

🔥 Everything becomes structured and organized

⚙️ WHAT CHATOPS DOES

ChatOps connects directly to WhatsApp and automatically:

✅ Sorts messages into categories like:
• Inquiries
• Active orders
• Pending replies
• Completed sales

✅ Shows business owners:
• Who needs a reply
• Who placed an order
• Repeat customers
• Pending transactions

No more confusion. No more missed opportunities.

🧠 CORE FEATURES

Here’s where it gets interesting 👇

• Smart inbox with automatic message classification
• Real-time order tracking system
• Customer profiles + purchase history (mini CRM)
• Follow-up reminders for unanswered chats
• Sales dashboard with activity insights

Everything is designed to help businesses stay organized, responsive, and professional

🖥️ HOW IT WORKS

• Business connects WhatsApp via Meta Cloud API
• Messages are securely mirrored into ChatOps
• System organizes everything instantly
• Replies sent from dashboard go back to WhatsApp in real time

👉 To the customer, nothing changes
👉 To the business, everything improves

🚀 WHY THIS IS A BIG DEAL

This is especially powerful for:

• Small business owners
• Vendors & online sellers
• Service providers
• WhatsApp-based businesses

Instead of struggling with chats, they now have a complete system to manage operations

🌍 THE VISION

According to the team, the goal is simple:

👉 Turn WhatsApp into a full business operating system

If executed well, ChatOps could become a major tool for businesses across Africa and beyond.

👨‍💻 ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Alvan Esiaka, founder of Kiyosetcode, is leading this project.
He is also the founder of ChatOps and has been actively building solutions focused on real-world problems in business and tech.

📅 LAUNCH DATE

ChatOps is set to launch very soon (April)

Hello everyone,

I’d love to share a quick highlight from one of our recent projects at KiyosetCode. We had the opportunity to build a website for a block and cement supply company — and it turned out to be one of our most fulfilling experiences yet.

From the start, the goal was clear: create a clean, professional, and user-friendly website that not only showcases their products and services but also builds trust with potential clients. We worked closely with the team to understand their business needs, branding, and vision, and then translated that into a well-structured and visually appealing online platform.

The result? A modern, responsive website that reflects their credibility and makes it easier for customers to find and connect with them. The client was genuinely impressed with the final product and how well it captured their business identity — they loved it!

At KiyosetCode, we’re all about delivering value through functional design and smooth user experience. This project is just one example of how we help businesses grow by building their presence online — and we’re just getting started.

WebmastersRe: The Danger Of Web Development As A Career. by Kiyosetcode2: 4:39pm On Mar 10, 2025
I couldn't agree more! As a website development company, we've encountered countless clients offering ridiculously low prices. Like the person who asked for a logistics website that allows real-time tracking of goods, and still had the nerve to price it at ₦40,000! Or the ones who think ₦50,000 is sufficient for a complex e-commerce website. It's appalling!

The issue is that we're offering our valuable skills to an environment that doesn't appreciate them. We need to strategize and find ways to escape this cycle of undervaluation.

But what's even more striking is the difference in treatment when dealing with foreign clients. When working with clients from the US, Canada, Europe, and other countries, they understand the value of our services and are willing to pay accordingly. Sometimes, they even offer extra compensation for the quality of work. For instance, a website project priced at $1,000 might be increased to $1,200 due to the level of expertise required.

It's astonishing to see foreign clients willing to pay $3,000 or more for a website, while in Nigeria, we're expected to deliver the same quality of work for ₦200,000, ₦100,000, or even as low as ₦40,000. The disparity is staggering.

Please share more suggestions on how we can navigate this challenge. We need to earn what we're worth!.
Shedrick:
Lemme tell you something. They say web development is a 'hot career' in Nigeria. Hot mess, more like. You know what's hotter? The sun beating down on you while you're trying to explain to a 'CEO' why their 50k budget for a full-fledged e-commerce site is an insult. Seriously, 50k? That barely covers my data for a week.

"And don't even get me started on these 'social media app' gigs. 30k? That's what you pay your mechanic to change your tires, not build your entire online presence. You think I learned Code just to get paid less than someone selling gala at a bus stop? Please, I'm not Uncle Surulere begging for attention, even though sometimes it feels like it.

"You see these 'clients' who expect miracles for peanuts? They'll tell you, 'We want something like Facebook, but, you know, for 50k.' Yeah, and I want a private island, but I'm not expecting it to magically appear. The audacity! They'll act like they're doing you a favor. 'We're giving you exposure!' Exposure to what? Starvation?

"Look, the 'Nwo nwo' of this whole thing is simple: if you're relying solely on the Nigerian market, you're basically playing Russian roulette with your career. You need to get out of this '30k gig' mentality. You need to start thinking in dollars, not naira. $400? That's your starting point. Anything less, and you're just devaluing yourself and the entire industry.

"And stop with the 'I'll just use Upwork' nonsense. You're competing with developers from all over the world, and they're probably willing to work for even less than you. You need to be smarter, you need to be more strategic. You need to hustle in the right circles. Find where the real money is. Network with people who actually understand the value of a good developer.

"Forget the fluff, forget the 'exposure.' Focus on your skills. Become so good that they can't ignore you. Learn the complex stuff, the cutting-edge technologies. Make your code speak for itself. And when you do land a good gig, deliver results that make them say, 'Damn, that's worth every penny.'

"Stop being a pushover. Stop accepting these ridiculous offers. You're not just a coder; you're a problem-solver, an innovator, a creator. Start acting like it. And if they don't like it? Tell them to find someone else. There's always someone out there who will appreciate your talent. And if not, learn to build your own stuff, monetize it, and tell those people to kick rocks.
