Politics › Re: Dear North; Why We should Vote Tinubu 2023 by kk2027: 2:57am On Oct 26, 2022 |
candidtalk: @OP.
You have spoken well but the reality is that you don't need to appeal to anyone because no man can deny an idea whose time has come. I am proud of how SW leaders are uniting to fight Buhari and the North.
It is Buhari's own APC SW Governors demanding a return to regional governance. It is SW States houses of assemblies that United to fight Buhari and Malami over Amotekun.
It is Lagos, an APC state, fighting the FG formally over VAT collection. It is SW State that led the formal ban on open grazing..
It is SW administrators demanding State police. Bottom line is that Yorubas have already started a cold war with the North we should be partners with courtesy of APC ruling Party. It is because we feel terribly let down by the North we helped to gain power.
We don't care about politics anymore. APC and PDP now unite in the .SW to fight the North because We want progress. We want adequate security of human lives and property. We want progressive governance whereby States and people get out what they put into Nigeria.
We want an end to the unfair and parasitic convocation of Nigeria. We want restructuring. We want resource control. We want an end to the injustice of Zamfara keeping 100% profit from her gold endowment while the crude of the ND has been used to sustain Nigeria for decades now.
All the above will not happen under Atiku or any Northerner. It is the reason Buhari's own SW APC governors are demanding he sanctions a return to regional governance so Yorubas can be free of the lunacy of 'one Nigeria' we strongly believe Northern approach to leadership, at the centre, is costing every Nigerian.
Northern leadership is making us all remain backwards as the North is. Buhari disappointed horribly. Especially Yorubas, like me, who supported him passionately because we believed he has the integrity to do what is right by every Nigerian.
The signs are obvious he is the last Northern leader Yorubas will indulge because our leaders, across political divides, have united to demand regional governance to free us from 'one Nigeria'.
North has had 8 years through Buhari. Give the South 8 years through Tinubu or ,even at worst, Obi. Another Northerner replacing Buhari is not tenable. Southerners, especially Yorubas, are not slaves of the North.
Atiku becoming President is the signal the South needs to accept they must become serious and uncompromising in the fight to free ourselves from the problem Northern leadership has cost Nigeria. Either that or we continue as slaves with no control over our own destiny.
As you point out, the North has the worst human development index in Nigeria. It is not a progressive region because it does not have many progressive leaders. That is the brutal truth.
How then does it make sense Northerners continue to insist they are best to lead to the extent of demanding a possible 16 years in charge of Nigeria?
We will see how it goes. North should really think and vote wisely. We are in a democracy so they are free to vote as they wish. Yet their raw, unreasonable and arrogant lust for power will cause problems for them.
They won't be able to force the continuity of 'one Nigeria' they benefit from the most if Yorubas join Igbos demanding their freedom from Nigeria. Ijaws and Middle beltans may demand similar.
What then for Atiku and the North? The North would be in charge of a ship everyone wants to disembark from merely because of their Machiavellian and unfair desire to always control Nigeria at the centre.
Northerners, especial the average citizens failed horribly by Northern leaders, must support the South to lead their region and Nigeria into a brighter and fairer future or bear the consequences of the agitation of other region to escape Northern backward leadership and.'tyranny' if they myopically vote Atiku.
From how the SW has been fighting Buhari for the past few years, even a blind man can see how things will go if we arrive at a situation Yorubas feel they have to bear another 8 years of Northern unprogressive leadership of Nigeria. Yorubas, in the entire history of Nigeria, are best at fighting and defeating hopelessness. If we're complaining about North doing 16 years and we cant give Ibos a chance, how are we different from the North we accuse? From all you wrote, south simply means southwest And if everyone starts reasoning in this your myopic angle, it then means nobody should vote any candidate outside their region. Im umapologethically obidient btw, not because he's Ibo but because he makes sense for Nigeria at this time |

Proudlyomonna: Op quickly adjust your submission on the percentage of Imo State literacy level. As at April 2023 till now,We are still on the first position, with 96.43% literacy rate. We have been on the top of that list for a straight up 4 years Now, beating Lagos to the ranking consecutively. As for tinubu, sorry to let you know that you are not in check with reality. I deal with Northerners every day, they are part and parcel of all the business I do daily, they help me to load, they also help my customers load, and I tell you with all certainty that they don't LIKE tinubu at all, infact ask 50 Northerners in Lagos if they will vote for tinubu you will not get up to 10 who supports tinubu. Tinubu agberos for Lagos no dey help matters at all Person dey hustle dey push truck for Hot Sun,you no go let am rest, owo mida morning, afternoon and night Mind You the Northern Christians already made their stand known. 2023 will definitely be anything but APC. #ENDAPCSAVENIJANOW.
