I have realized that men gossip a lot these days more than women especially in Government houses. I ask why?

The 2016 series of the Abia Women's August Delegates Conference AWADEC, organised by the office of the wife the Governor in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs will officially begin this week.

The event which will hold in the three senatorial zones has the theme: "Education for better life". It will feature lectures from distinguished women achievers in health, agriculture and human rights as well as exhibitions from various women groups, from Local Government Areas in each senatorial zone, while delegates from various professional women groups, women organisations, community groups and welfare associations, will attend the events.

A release says the series will begin on Wednesday August 10th with Abia Central conference to hold at the Isiala ngwa North LGA, the Abia North conference will take place at Bende Local Government Headquarters on Monday 15th August 2016.

Time is 11 a.m every day.

The release further directs delegates to arrive to arrive the venues at 10:30a.m each day to complete registration procedures before the arrival of the special Guest of Honour , Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu.
