CelebritiesMale Makeup Artist Transforms Himself To Kim Kardashian & Other Hollywood Celebs by kmaz(op): 2:52pm On Mar 11, 2015
Paolo Ballesteros @pochoy_29 on instagram transformed his face with makeup, amazing contouring skills and wigs into KimKardashian, Dakota Johnson, Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Kylie Jenner and more.

I had to check out his instagram page for more photos.

What's truly amazing is the before and after photos.....WOWZAAS!

My best would be the Kim K before and after....her new blond hair look, the eyes, her always contoured check bone and pout for centuries was so Kim Kardarshian.

FashionREVIEW: MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick by kmaz(op): 2:34pm On Mar 05, 2015
MAC's Ruby Woo is the most famous red lipstick of the MAC lipstick collection. The lipstick is a best seller. This is hands down my favourite red lipstick for now. It's so good that Rihanna couldn't get enough of it, so MAC created one for her called Riri Woo.

I am sure majority of you reading this will have heard about it or even have it...it's a girls' best friend.

If you have it, let me know what you think but if you don't have it, then see my review here:

Oluchi started her full brows for new year challenge since she couldn't do the full eyebrows for Christmas challenge I did last year;
In her words, ''beauty is pain, if I have to carry scruffy ungroomed brows before I look good I will wait''.

See the rest of the story here: http://simplyomata..com/2015/02/oluchis-groomed-brows.html

She saved her brows for 5 weeks and 5 days.

FashionLupita Nyong'o's Hair And Makeup At The Oscars by kmaz(op): 2:36pm On Feb 23, 2015
I love Lupita Nyong'O.....I really do, she's truly black, beautiful and a good actress too. She was trending globally and winning at all the award ceremonies last year for her performance in 12 YEARS A SLAVE and really rocked the red carpet with her beautiful gowns like a true star. She's one of those women that have made the African Woman truly proud.

Although she's not winning this year, I think her team has not been making her stand out as she should....what do you think?....BE THE JUDGE!

Here's Lupita's Hair and Makeup Look at the just concluded Oscars.

FashionChiamaka's Makeover....chopped Brows Transformed by kmaz(op): 5:33pm On Feb 21, 2015
Her brows were so full I was looking forward to having a grooming date with them, then I saw her and my heart was literarily broken…..she had chopped them off by herself.

So we decided to do a makeover to show her how to fill her brows and equally make her look beautiful.

FashionTop 3 Mascaras I Use by kmaz(op): 12:52pm On Feb 19, 2015
Typically, I love my natural lashes for my everyday look; false lashes come on board when I want that extra effect glam kinda moment. Wearing my natural lashes everyday means I have to apply my mascara right.

Using too much mascara could ruin your look, smear your eye shadow and make you freak out with every black stain you have to clean up or you may end up with panda looking eyes.

So here are the top 3 mascaras I use that help me achieve perfect natural lashes. In no particular order....I love love all 3.

-HYPNOSE LANCOME MASCARA
-BLACK RADIANCE MASCARA
-MAYBELLINE COLOSSAL VOLUME EXPRESS MASCARA

Your Honour!

YOU are the JUDGE of this case....

What do you think of Lupita’s makeup look.....What's your VERDICT?

FashionRe: Check Out My Colourful Grey And Pink Smokey Eye.....(before MEETS AFTER) by kmaz(op):
@coldgate: people's taste in makeup differ....sorry I can't help you dear....and this is nowhere near horror loool, see horror makeup in pictures attached

@Admirabelle: not everyone likes thin brows like you do, unclad lip is not always the way to go, clad lips are coming back into fashion, yea I didn't contour around the nose, I agree I could contour it to look perfect but not everyone likes to be sculptured every time.....we all like different things....whatever a client wants/likes is what she gets. Cara Delevingne-esque is a Super Model whose brows always speak, see her picture below.....check out clad (lined) lips as well

CelebritiesHere's The Man Who Spent $150,000 On Surgery To Look Like Kim Kardashian by kmaz(op): 4:33pm On Dec 22, 2014
According to Cosmopolitan,

British Makeup artist Jordan Parke is having a moment right now, as the tale of his cosmetic surgery-assisted quest to resemble his idol Kim Kardashian is spreading as quickly as a regular Kardashian news story across the Internet. Parke has spent $150,000 on his transformation, which has so far included "extreme lip fillers," eyebrow tattoos, laser hair removal, and lots of Botox.

With today's exchange rate, $150,000 is equivalent to 28,117,500 Naira.

Hmmm, the trouble that Kim Kardashian will cause in this world…..hmmm #Speechless #DropsMic

FashionMakeup Tips For Dry Skin by kmaz(op): 3:06pm On Dec 22, 2014
Life is such an irony: she that has oily skin doesn't want the oil; she that has dry skin will willingly swim in an ocean of oil.

Being on the dry skin side of life that cracks, flakes or peels constantly has its own challenges when it comes to applying makeup; Instead of letting your makeup come out beautifully, it actually makes your facial imperfections, wrinkles and facial lines appear even more visible.

Just like oily skin, dry skin is also a natural skin condition formed from genes/hormones.

Here’s the good news: ALL MAKEUP PRODUCTS contain oil; oil is exactly what you need to make a dry skin flake-less, radiant and flawless…..sounds like problem solved, right!

Here are more tips:

1. Number One Key Control: use lots and lots of moisturizers every day. The best way to keep your makeup intact is to use a moisturizer before applying your makeup; especially around the areas that tend to squeeze or look wrinkled.

2. Maintain a Skin Routine: go for oil based cleansers and soaps. Exfoliating the dead skin cells is also important but do not do this frequently to avoid more skin dryness.

3. Use liquid or rolling eye pencils to fill your brows: they have a creamy texture which a dry skin craves for. Normal eyebrow pencils and fillers on dry skin will easily flake and make facial lines visible.

4. Look for Liquid Type Makeups: For foundations or concealers, your best bet would be to use the tube/bottle liquid type makeup products; they are very creamy with great coverage that fills in facial lines, pores and wrinkles. It is another secret weapon for dry skin control. Avoid products with oil control formula. Go for products like Iman Luxury Radiance Liquid Makeup, Clinique Supermoisture Makeup, Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Foundation, Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation, M.A.C Mineralize Moisture Foundation, Black Opal True Colour Liquid Foundation, Mary Kay TimeWise Luminous Wear Liquid Foundation and so on.

5. If your skin gets very dry, cracks and flakes, you can skip powder application

6. Shimmer is your best friend: Anything that adds more shine or greasiness to your face is good for you; Go for shimmery or creamy eye shadow, blush or bronzers.

7. Use Moisture Based Mattifiers or Primers: It will help your foundation or concealer last longer.

8. Stick to balms and lip gloss: If you have to use a lipstick; use a lip primer or balm as base before the lipstick.

Hope this helps!

FashionMakeup Tips For Oily Skin by kmaz(op): 9:20am On Dec 16, 2014
Struggling daily with a face that shines bring like a diamond can be very annoying. Oily skin is not affiliated with any particular gender; It's a concern for all, men and women alike.

For women, it gets even more frustrating when you apply makeup; before you know it, your face is all shiny and your makeup smears, slides or even runs down your face like sweat.

Can You Completely Get Rid of An Oily Skin?
NO, it’s a combination of Genetics/Hormones.

Can You Keep It Under Control?
YES you can.

Sadly, ALL MAKEUP PRODUCTS contain oil. Whether it’s a foundation, concealer, powder, lipstick etc. ….YES they all contain oil; even the most expensive brands no matter how little. The difference is the proportion of oil in different brand varies; some are high, others are low.

To get it under control:
1. Work out a skin regimen and follow it: It’s easy to start a skin routine but it’s difficult to keep up with it….YOU HAVE TO KEEP UP. Exfoliate, Cleanse and Moisturize. Unadulterated BLACK SOAP is also known to fight against oily, acne prone skin.

2. Go for the WATER BASED products. Yes they contain oil but in a lower proportion, with a higher proportion of water (more water than oil) and an oil control formula. Such products include Iman Perfect Response, Marykay timewise foundation, Zaron Oil free Cream to Powder, Fashion Fair Oil Free crème to powder, Black opal invisible oil blocking powder, Kuddy's powder etc.

3. Shimmer is your worst enemy. Anything that adds more shine or greasiness to your face is bad for you. Go for MATTE eye shadows or products; these are products without shimmer/shine.

4. Your best bet would be to use the compact/crème to powder products rather than the tube/bottle liquid type. compact/crème to powder has a better coverage while tube/bottle liquid type smears faster on oily skin.

5. Oil Blotting Papers are your best friend. When your face looks oily, use a blotting paper to absorb the shine. That way you can re-apply a light based of powder without getting your face caked.

6. Oil Mattifiers or Primers are also good for you. Go for a water-based primer. It reduces shine while making your foundation or concealer last longer.

7. Lemon and egg white are very good at absorbing oil. You could add this to your skin routine.

8. You can combine any two water based products……just find the one that works best for you.

Hope this helps!
