There is nothing to worry about as completing the process of [b]kobo reset[/b] is quite easier and includes only a few steps that are important to follow.
Doing a Simple Reset
A simple reset will simply push your device to reboot in an incorrect manner. However, in many situations, the basic reset will restore your device to its fine state.
Steps to follow:
1. Firstly you need to turn off your device.
2. Try removing the port cover and find the little pinhole located at bottom of the device.
3. Try unfolding a paperclip and swipe an end inside the hole.
4. Tap gently until there is no sound of a click. The device will begin to reboot.

Doing factory reset
In case the simple reset not works correctly then you can go for a factory reset for restoring the device to its default settings. Once factory reset gets done then you must set up the device and sync eReader for one more time.

Make your settings and option to original settings.
Get your device to its default settings.

1. You need to restore books or other documents that you added to the device by using Adobe Digital Editions or which were manually added by using PC. There is no requirement for backing up books purchased from Kobo. Any books bought from kobo can be re-downloaded from kobo cloud after completing the factory reset.

3. Choose Menu Icon from the top of the screen.
4. Click Settings.
5. Select device details.
6. Pick Factory reset from the advanced tab.
7. Click Reset Now.
