Honestly, I experienced something similar and I'm tired.
I even downloaded cracked Pro version of Damon ps2 apk but to no avail. The apk is online and I think it has anticrack features which makes cracked Pro Apk not to work.

I uninstalled the apk immediately....

I experienced similar problem back in those days but I think the problem you are faced with now is the iso. Most of those rip ISO often crashes.
I did not finish the game then because of crash at a particular point in the game not until I came across this cool site where I downloaded Logan's shadow and dark mirror and I finished the two games.

Most of my iso (ppsspp and dolphin) is now downloaded from romsmode.com (I strongly recommend).
