My baby's almost 9 months but doesn't eat well. She has lost so much weight. I tried giving her RELOAD but her appetite is yet to improve. She just leaves food in her mouth and wouldn't swallow. Her only food is pap as she refusednto take any cereals.

go and buy a baby walker... Tnk me later... Both my boys start using baby walker at 6months, my first start walking at 10months and my 2nd at 8months... I suspected it was the walker mk dem walk early.

dis means she has acid reflex... Get a formula that work against acid reflex.

Good morning ma, my baby (she'll be in months old on 3th) has not poop since 4days ago. I dip Rob in her anus 3days ago so she later poop at night. Since then till now she hasn't poop again. She's feeding exclusively & actively sucking.

EBF babies can go 5-6days not pooping.... Pls dont use rob on ur baby... Rob contains lot of camphor which is not good for babies... It may induce seizure to baby if its too much.... Becareful of wat u give ur baby please.

My baby girl is 7 months old, I did 6 months exclusive breastfeeding. I couldn't continue due to our present financial crisis. I wasn't feeding well despite still breastfeeding, I was looking very emaciated and fell ill often, plus my baby eats a lot. So hubby asked me to stop breastfeeding after 6 months. I started making tom brown ( maize, guinea corn, soya bean, dates, ground nuts and sweet potato) and mixing it with baby formula for her. She liked it at first and was looking chubby and healthy, she's a naturally chubby baby, even while I was breast feeding.
Recently, I couldn't afford the formula, so I have been giving her only the tom brown, she doesn't take it as much as before and I noticed that whenever she does, she passes a very large amount of poop but it's not runny like diarrhoea, just lots of brown mushy poop that looks a lot like the tom brown she took. It's not watery at all. She also seems to be losing a bit of weight and only takes a little bit of the tom brown at a time. I'm so confused, I feel so guilty that I stopped breastfeeding. Please some one help me with answers.

hello mama, i hope u r feeling well now dt u hv stop breastfeeding... Its normal 4 babies to lose their weight after stop breastfeeding... Sinc u stop breastfeeding try n b buying d formula bcs ur baby is too small to stop takin milk 4 now... All d food u mentn r all good 4 baby but try as much as possible 2 give ur baby milk too (very important).

is it pooping once in a day or wat? If its ones or 3 times in a day... N it consistency is normal... All is well with ur baby. Sm new born to 5 or 6months old babies poop 3 to 4times in a day while oda babies poop onces in 4 to 5days... All is normal.

I hope u haven't give her d med... If u r scared n dont knw wat to do, y not tk baby to hospital atleast d doc will tell u wat to do... My one yr old diarrhea just stopped yesterday... It last 4 a week... I nva gave him anything, i just stop given him water but continue his normal food and offer formula to keep his fluid and electrolytes up... If to say he isnt eating, na to give ORS... flagyl is not 4 babies.

Hello mamas, pls I'm not in the country and have just given birth. The food here is so expensive and work isn't allowing me keep up with breast milk, even that is not sufficient for him at night. Pls at what age can I introduce pap? What can I put in the pap to make it really nutritious for him? What alternative foods can I make for him that daycare will be able to feed him during the day? He is currently 7 weeks old and the country kept insisting on solid foods at 6months yet the baby foods are so expensive here. Thank you.

if u cant breastfeed... Its only formula u can give baby at dt age... Pls dont give any oda tin... Pls r 4gv me if i am out of my lane... I am just curious... Y leave a newborn n start work? U need to still b nursing ur baby at this point.... We understand Nigerian mom... Nigeria situations push them out but thank God u r out of d country... Y not calm down, relax n take care of ur baby till mayb wen he clock (d earliest) 7 or 8months... U wont have to worry ursef about wat to give baby cs baby would have being taking solid and can start daycare.... Even u will hv rest of mind that he is doing well.... Again i am sorry if i cross my lane... I just dey feel bad for d new baby.... Moreover breastmilk is free if baby food is expensive.

My baby has sudden infant cry in his sleep and it is soo often. He is will be one year old in April.
I experience this with my first son however not as often as it is now with my second son.
We pray, we take off his cloth for more air, we use kernel oil on him but it’s just not work. After a few week we experience it a again.

wen baby start sucking dey suck d water in d breast first b4 d real milk start coming... This is wat happens to ur baby... N reason e is pooping green because u dont feed baby long enough to suck d real breastmilk... Try n let ur baby suck longer... If d green poop is foaming, it means ur baby is teething.

that is d cause of rota vaccine 4 u... Its either it mk baby hav diarrhea, vomit or both.... I know u r worried but d vomit will go eventually... Just keep giving baby fluid to keep baby hydrated.

What is the name of this pus filled bump/rashes on my 11 months plus baby's head,fore head even neck? Tried google but seeing different nomenclature.

Some medications (Rexifen, Maxiquine, Erythromycin) were prescribed for him by a Pharmacist but not seeing any changes. Infact it seems the medication is triggering it more. We don't use sponge to bath him for nw. Even applied Ori, Raving baby powder still the same thing.

oh wow!!! Is dis not alefo?! Ur LO is probably reacting to something... Watch out for any allergies... Growing babies are prone to hv allergies to anything... Its our job as their mlm to knw wat is triggering them.

my sister is it jerking also know as twitching or trembling? Jerking (twitching) is when one part of the body or the entire body suddenly move or vibrate while trembling is shaking of the whole bidy as if one is extremely cold.

If it is jerking, it is normal for babies to jerk while sleeping or about to fall asleep till up to when dey are about to clock one year and trembling is normal for new born baby when they cry and not while they are sleeping... If your baby body is trembling when he/she sleeps... I dont think that is normal... Let me just say i never heard baby trembling while sleeping but twitching is very common n normal which will eventually go away as baby develops.

Now I’m really worried about his weight, 5.1kg at 6months. He’s healthy though and has been achieving all milestones for his age but when I see babies of his age, they are usually double his size. Now that I’m about to start solid I just want suggestions that can help my baby grow chubby abeg . Emphasis on “Chubby” pls house. Tired of people around me saying “omo e ti kere ju” meaning your “baby is too small” and I just imagine how I buy a tin of SMA gold every 4 days chai! Izz paining me jor!!! and @Layormiii do you guys know dt babies lose weight wen u start introducing solid to them because at first d body will have to adjust to d introduction of d new food by gettin use to it and baby start adding weight later on... Sm mamas r lucky deirbaby accept any food dey r introduced to so dey hv no problem with deir baby addin more weight while mamas like me had trouble wit my baby accepting solid food... E lose weight but later gained it bk wen e finally accepted taking solid.... Three things actually comtibuted with him losing his weight then. 1) he was teething 2) so e refused all food but formula and solid altogether. 3) he started walking at d stage at which i was introducing solid food 4 him wen e was 7months plus... D excitement was part of d reasons he wasnt interested in food too.... We r past dt now, he eat all food n weight bk to normal.

u can if u want... Depends on ur LO poop texture and consistency... Wen my LO was on formula only, i dnt give him water bcs his poop wasnt solid n too frequent until e started eating solid n his poop chng from his normal semi solid texture to solid n poop wasnt dt frequent anymore.
