Good Afternoon Everyone. I was delivered of my November baby on Wednesday night through Referred Emergency CS because of severe PProm. Mother and Baby doing very well, although baby is in NNU and i am recuperating. Kudos to Isolo General Hospital. They did a great job and erased my fears about General hospital. I'm grateful to God. Can't wait to go home with my baby soon.

wow!!! Congratulations... Dont worry, u will b discharged ur doc is very sure baby is fine n ok to go home... Rest well, eat well n enjoy ursef.

eeya sorry 4 having insomnia dis early in ur pregnancy... Dt u r experiencing it doesn't mean ur baby is experiencing it too.... Insomia is very common 4 some women... I wont want it either cs it is very frustrating. As 4 ur prenatals, i hope u took folic acid till 12weeks bcs dt is wen it is most likely needed 4 ur baby to avoid baby havinh spinafida. D rest of d vitamins like calcium, vitamins b complex are just for u bcs baby will definitely tk wat dey need from ur body n u can end up having deficiency in vit d3, calcium n bcomplex n i must tell u, d after math aint pretty, ur teeth can be falling off one by one sef... Take ur iron too to avoid story.
Nobody likes taking medicine everyday... I know i dont.. But its something we mist take. Brush ur teeth afterwards or chew gum.... U will be fine.... Goodmorning.

D amount of pains i was him wen i was 4weeks gone were unbearable, sneezing, catarrh n blocked nose for about 4more weeks didnt allow me rest... But d fear of d unknown made me refused to take paracetamol.... But in own case, i am kinda concerned about d elevated temperature, why dont u seek a doctor's consultation.... Having temp might not be pregnancy related

hmmm, I understand. Truth is, my baby is always big, 1st child was 4.1 and it was VBAC but I will consult my doc like you advised.

women who nva hv CS can hv vaginal delivery even thou d baby is big but women who previously hv CS n d duration of the time isnt far long b4 another pregnancy cant have vaginal delivery, i am not saying its not possible but its dangerous especially ur case in which your baby turns out to be big... VBAC can only be advice two n half years after previous CS. Goodluck dear n safe delivery to u and all of us.

Good morning beautiful mamas, I purposely logged off Nairaland for some time so I don’t get anxious about my EDD but here I am again, anxious as a butterfly. I had my 2nd baby last yr march through C/S and now my EDD is Oct 3rd. When I started anti natal, I asked my doctor if I will be allowed to try vaginal birth but she said no due to distance between last birth and current pregnancy, that was how I removed mind and started eating everything that hungry me o.

Fast forward to yesterday anti natal, doctor told me that since my pregnancy has been stress free, she wants to see if I can try vaginal birth but first I should go and check baby’s weight, I did scan and baby was weighing 3.2kg, this is just week 36/37, I always cross my EDD which led to the last C/S, if baby’s Weight is 3.2kg now, what will by baby be weighing by 42weeks?

If she had told me I will be allowed to try, I would have controlled my food, or even find ways to control weight gain, I really want to try and don’t know what to do now. I will be submitting the result to her in two weeks time, I am already scared of her response.

Pls is there any sure way to induce labor? Pineapple don’t work for me, pls somebody should help me o, I don’t have anyone to come take care of my this time, lost my mum last yr after birth. I want to try vaginal birth so I can recover fast since I my husband will be the only help I might get this time.

Let me first apologise, if my advice may sound offensive but i have to be realistic with u....... U had CS 18months ago n u wanna try VBAC??!!! with baby that is already 3.2kg n can most likly weight more b4 40weeks... Dont try it pls n pls dont even think about inducing yoursef, it may lead to emergency CS .. Speak to ur doctor n jejely chose date 4 ur C-sectn.... Dont stress d baby n ursef by wanting VBAC... opt 4 Csectn pls. Anyway, ur doctor will consult u more sha because d weight of d baby don pass wetin u want for vbac to happen.

Good morning mama! Why did you thank God about the vomiting? Can you enlightened me more,so I can learn one or two things. To me it's surprising bcs all my previous pregnancies I do vomit and spit all through first trimester to early second trimester. Are you saying there's no cause for alarm?

no cause 4 alarm at all... At all at all... Vomitting obviously dont help in keeping the electrolytes and vitamins u need in your bodythat xan help to stay strong n to help ur feed d baby in the womb, it makes u weak. Even though vomitting cant cause miscarriage even if one vomit to d extent of vomiting blood, its not something that one shpuld pray for.
