DrGoodman:

Afonja. Nobody needs your sinparty, billionaires are still being created everyday in the south east despite the government abandonment. The Igbo man were created to conquer, despite the odds. You chickened out and ran, like your brethren from afonja territory are known to do.
You all ran away from Obomosho, ado Ekiti, ibadan and ondo to live in Lagos that was developed with federal oil money. Now those SW towns are rotting away while you come here to pretend. Na curse them curse you? grin

From the comments I must agree with you. Igbos deserve everything they are suffering. The current Igbo race is critically lacking in WISDOM. With everything Igbos are suffering today that there are still "one nigeria" igbos in existence shows how foolish igbos are. Some will put others before their fellow igbos and igboland and when you talk they give stupid excuses like "it makes more business sense" or the most stupid one "igbos are accommodating" why can't you accommodate your land and people first?

Whenever someone rises to fight for igbos every idiot in the land will be fighting him until he goes instead of getting full support and then when everyone is back to square one the crying and complaining resumes again(is this an ancestral curse?). Just see how Nnamdi Kanu disappeared and igbos are not even concerned(what a shame). Right now I'm at the point of almost giving up on the igbo race.
oga i have given up on igbos long ago but sometimes i look back and feel ashamed of being an igboman.

There are two ways of achieving Biafra.

1. Wage a guerrilla war and kill those soldiers sent to kill Biafrans (Faster but bloody)

2. Pursue a legal diplomatic channel for a REFERENDUM through the United Nations universal declaration of human rights articles on freedom of association.(Slower but less bloody)

Palestinians have been seeking independence from Israel through a UN supervised referendum. it is still an ongoing process.

I personally think a combination of methods 1 & 2 is the best way to go.
the question is what does igbos want?because as it stands now nobody knows what igbos want.ohaneze did their useless summit in awka up till today what has come out of it?they are shouting 2023 up and down while you and i knows that apc and bubu will never hand over to igbos.our best bet to achieve anything we wanted in igboland was ipob but we messed it up,nigerian was taking us serious but we mess things up.since boko started how many northern leaders has spoken about it?now is the best time to achieve biafra because time will come 8 out of 10 scurity men you see in nigeria will be an hausaman.it has already started.to achieve something in life you must lose, that is why in account we have profit and lost account.

Truth be told , you cannot stampede the realisation of biafra like NK and ipob were trying to , Nigerian is dying a slow death, Nigeria is a terminally ill country , so why not allow the country to pass on peacefully , why be the catalyst to the demise of Niigeria, knowing fully well other parts of the country will abandon their brutal fate in the hands of herdsmen and boko haram to fight igbos if igbos declare biafra. my advice would have been to scale down on the street shows , then prepare or start preparing for the inveitable over run of the country by the herdsmen and their boko counter parts , induce the divestment of igbos from crisis likely prone areas and from abandoned property mentally induced regions , establish R and D centres that would wean igbos from their chronic addiction to cow meat.

It seems our generation quickly forgot the lesson of the last war where there was crisis in the middle belt (TIV crisis) and western region only for Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna to drag igbos into that mess with igbos still paying the wages for that misadventure till date while the west and middle belt reaped where they did not sow.
ok sir let us wait till nigeria die out but let us also stop crying like babies over what nigeria govt is doing to igbos.

Let me first say i support IPOB and all its aspirations.

The problem with MOST IPOB people is that once some slight difference in opinion for the best strategy occurs, they immediately attack you and say you never wanted Biafra and would prefer Nigeria. You guys must learn how to listen to yourselves and other and weigh every strategy carefully.

The strategy to boycott Anambra election was flawed from the start. Then NK turned it into him being from East Central state from where Anambra was carved. Thus exactly playing into the trap of those trying to portray him as Abia guy trying to ruin Anambra. Once he went there, no matter what he said, he could never win from that angle. However, in reality, the decision to boycott a gubernatorial election was silly. The election to boycott is the Presidential election and you must get elections not to hold in about 12 -13 states. That is the critical number that will prevent any winner from emerging.

The issue is that IPOB still think Biafra could be achieved with what happens in the SE as in the 1960s. NO!, Biafra will be achieved by what happens OUTSIDE the Southeast. Other oppressed Nigerians in Benue, Southern Kaduna, Southern minorities, some parts of Yorubaland must come together and decide that what is happening in Nigeria must STOP.

Ojukwu himself told us that we should not seek Biafra using his strategy. I still believe a measure of armed insurgency is required, but it must be planned to operate nationwide and meticulously avoid civilian casualties. What i have suggested isn't easy, but a disciplined group can easily pull it off with minimal casualties.
i heard you sir lets wait for another group and oppressed nigerian to achieve biafra for us maybe in the next 300yrs.

ipob miscalculation seems to be the mobilsation to boycott of Anambra election, this to me was one of the biggest miscaluclation Nk made , moreover i think Biafra will not be gotten from the streets but from the laboratories. But God be blessed operation python dance a clearly misplace d and dumb military operation did not lead the east to another senseless blood letting and orgy .

He's also not afraid to say it as it is on the floor of the senate, and has been known to occasionally ruffle the 'establishments' feathers and tell them a few bitter home truths that's seen them howling in protest! grin

I love the man for standing by Mazi Kanu!

Stop lying!
I was always in support of a peaceful street march well video taped by many people with cell phones etc so that the excesses of the security forces can be captured on tape for future trials and justice. The videos should be immediately posted on social media and deleted from your phone, so that even if the army gets you, they cannot see the video from your phone.

I also supported speaking with international press and emphasizing that IPOB was not calling for war but for Referendum.

My ONLY disagreement with NK was that we should boycott Anambra elections which i thought was counter productive and would not change anything. Instead of boycotting gubernatorial election, IPOB must work with OPC and Afenifere, Benue Peoples Movement and of course Niger Delta partners such as Avengers and other freedom fighters to ask the respective southern and middle belt states to boycott 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

NK, must decentralize IPOB to make sure he does not make ALL the decisions. Else if he was eliminated, IPOB would be dead. Well, the problem with IPOB is that nobody knows anything except them. So they centered everything around Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Experience they say is the best teacher. In the future we will learn to stop having only one leader that makes all the decisions. Little operational decisions can be made by others and only the big decisions or major change in tactics can be made by the leader. Nelson Mandela was put in jail, but ANC did not die because he was not the one making all the operational decisions.
NK was never the only one making decisions for ipbo, mind you the leadership of ipbo is not base in nigeria incase you dont know.when NK had meeting with south east govs and ohaneze, after the meeting he told them that he will meet with the leadership of ipob before any decisions can be reach and when he went down to ipob leaders, them turn down the damand of south east leaders.yes ipbo was build around NK because people knows that he will never betray them.opc you talked about please who is the leader of opc?opc before is no more the opc you know before.

Maybe you missed where i also mentioned thos ein the opposition. I must not mention them insidivudally because they're not the most vocal anti-Igbo politicians. The Igbo politiicians in the APC who are have taken it as a right and job to lick Buhari's scrotum even it means insulting the generality of Igbos.

It's exactly the same thing the Igbos in PDP did when PDP was in power. It's funny how peope make it seem like PDP was very god to the Igbos. They were just fair us to us but very far from good because it was even in PDP that we started clamoring for Igbo presidency and they did not even concede the vide presidency to us despite our input into the party.

IPOB was led by a charismatic man, but a very very very poor strategist.

How didn't Nnamdi Kanu know that if he puts the entire decision making and command and control of IPOB on himself, that the target of his enemies will be to eliminate him in order to decapitate IPOB? I mentioned this then that it was dangerous that only NK was speaking and facilitating IPOB marches. If NK should be a supreme leader without any army, he MUST leave Nigeria else his days are numbered.

Anyhow, IPOB is not dead. What is happening is that re-organization of the command and control is taking place without NK. If he had been there, it would have been less chaotic. Unless Nigeria is at the minimum restructured, Nigeria is living on borrowed time and will inevitably break up violently if they imagine they will perpetually subject Igbos to discrimination and the country will just continue indefinitely.

Again, it is up to people ruling Nigeria to decide to make the country accommodating to all or to continue grand standing that nothing will happen. Once it starts this time, it cannot be stopped by the last tactics of doing Python dance and killing unarmed people.
oga if ipbo strategist were poor please can you come up with good one.NK and ipbo was the best thing that happen to igbos after war.oga i can still remember that you were agaisnt their method please oga can you come up with the right method and right group?you and some igbos here are not different from useless south east govs and ohaneze.

While the crop of politicians we had in pre civil war were charistmatic and the best we've had is because they had leverage. If they were around in this present dispensation, they would have been just as bad as the present crop. Our problem started from the civil war, after which there was a conscious effort to make sure we do not rise politically or economically and in order to do so, they needed to select politicians from our areas who will not ask too much question. They choose people who were more after filling their own pockets than the betterment of Igboland. That's the present crop of politicians you would see defending the present government against tghe atrocities of Igbo people. A case in point is Rochas, Orji Uzor Kalu, Ken Nnamani and eve the ones in the opposition. They can risk being seen as adversaries of the Hausa-Fulani hegemony.

Dude, no make me swear for you this early morning!

I've just been watching NTA network news on transportation facilities in the 6 geopolitical zones! Was just shaking my head in disbelief at the wickedness of the Buhati admin' and the gullibility of those 'one Nigeria' Igbos in APC!

They showed a sexy and clean looking Kaduna airport which they said is now upgraded to int'l status and can take flights from any destination in the world...they were bigging it up big time! We were told by Captain Mohammed Joji that the airport can take Jumbo jets and even the largest aircraft in the world: A380.

The Kaduna inland dry port is up and running. I saw containers being handled and they said agents are moving down to Kaduna from Lagos as they said Lagos ports are congested. This is as the Onitsha river port is being taken over by weeds and wild animals!

They showed the swanky new Kaduna-Abuja rail line.

On Port Harcourt Int'l, i saw work going on in the new terminal...they showed it. This was one of the 5 new terminals started during the Odua tenure...the others being Lagos, Kano, Abuja and Enugu. They said it would be launched in july i think.

While they showed ongoing works on the Lagos-Ibadan new rail line, that of the eastern corridor that would include the SE...they said 'discussions are at an advanced stage'!

Now coming to the SE what did they show? All they showed was a dilapidated AIIA Enugu....and i could see some ceiling panels missing! They didn't show the new terminal building...all they said was that it's at 65% completion! NTA visited the airport with a tv camera crew, and the new terminal building being the major construction work at the airport wasn't shown...all they said was that work is at 65%! No comment!

For AIIA, they also talked of a few other things like the extended runway which they said is 3,000 meters length; runway edge lights illuminated; fire trucks and water overhead water tanks; the car park has been extended; and they said a new aircraft apron is under construction. For this one they showed what looked like a lone hungry looking guy mixing cement with a shovel (no sign of any construction coy whatsoever, never mind one of int'l standard like Julius Berger), with some area having been cemented already...i guess this will be the floor for the snazzy new 'aircraft apron' they talked about....can't wait! shocked

What i'm trying to show by narrating what i saw on the network news is that Ndigbo are being taken for fools...being taken for a expensive ride! Remember they've already gotten Abuja and Kano...yet while we were not looking, they sneakily went and upgraded kaduna to int'l status while almost abandoning AIIA Enugu! I'm not sure, but i'd imagine Kaduna is still taking int'l flights that started when they gave the excuse that they wanted to divert int'l flights there b'cos of runway works at Abuja airport! You've got to admire their sneakiness if not anything else!

As per your post: you say (almost mockingly) that AIIA Enugu was never in the same class with the four 'major airports' as you put it! These airports are Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt! Enugu airport that existed long before that of Abuja, and which could have grown organically to be one of the busiest in the country if not for the wicked ethno-religious inspired politics we operate in this cursed country! You think AIIA wouldn't have trounced Kano in aircraft and passenger traffic if it had been running int'l services since the 70s like Kano airport has been doing that makes you feel funky!? Even now as we speak, AIIA still only has one int'l airline flying its route (since 2012 when it commenced int'l flight operations), while Kano has up to three....i think!

I remember when in 2012 the int'l operations started at AIIA, we were all talking excitedly of which next airline and routes would be added in a few months down the line....and then Buhari appeared on the scene and our fortunes changed for the worse!

Like i said, dude no make me swear for you oh! sad
hahahaha i like it when igbos cry like this.oga this long write up we never add anything,By 2023 when a yrouba man take over from bubu una eye go clear well well, mark this somewhere you cry cry we never take you anywhere because ohaneze ndiigbo, south east govs and 60% of igbos are useless.i can't wait for 2023 to come.ndi ara.

I agree with your hard-hitting sarcasm!

Some of us are either blissfully ignorant or pretend not to know that the political-economy of Nigeria is rigged against Umuigbo and Alaigbo, and this would include the aviation sector as well!

Why do you think since the coming of Buhari and APC that AIIA Enugu is no more mentioned in the same breath with the airports like Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt like was the case when GEJ was president!?

Even this little one AIIA is seeing courtesy of Yar'Adua and GEJ, it's paining some people like hell! It's getting close to a decade now and the new terminal is still an empty shell...almost still at the stage GEJ left it!

I wonder if those glass panes damaged in a storm about two years ago have finally been fixed. undecided

Igbo Ekunie Knocks Ethiopian Airline Over Fare Disparity

By ElombahNews on June 15, 2018

The Igbo Ekunie Initiative, an Igbo socio-cultural organization of professionals in Nigeria and the diaspora had written to the Ethiopian Airlines and tasked them to reverse the wide disparity in fares charged to passengers flying to and from Enugu when compared to other airports in Nigeria.

In a letter made available to ElombahNews, the organisation noted that after undertaking a research of the airfare charged by Ethiopian Airline in Nigeria, the organisation noticed that there existed a very wide array of disparity between the fares passengers pay to different destinations from Enugu compared to other International airports in Nigeria.

Igbo Ekunie noted that a situation where a passenger from Kuala Lumpur pays N343, 000 to fly to Enugu, while the same passenger would pay N170, 000 to fly to Lagos or N192, 000 to Kano is highly discriminately against Ndigbo who mostly fly to and from Enugu.

Disparities were noticed on other routes as well.

Igbo Ekunie further noted that beyond being a monopoly on the Enugu route, there was no other logical justification for such wide fare disparities by the same airline flying to the same country.

Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke and Mr Agu Onwuamaeze the head of the Economic Directorate, made their stance clear in the letter signed by the President of the organisation

They argued that the fare disparities have forced a lot of people to travel to other cities rather than go through Enugu to save cost.
n responding to the letter addressed to the company CEO, the Ethiopian Airline manager at Enugu airport, Mr Solomon Mekonnen, thanked Igbo Ekunie for taking the time to write.

He promised that they have immediately started reviewing all their fares to Enugu and making the necessary adjustments.

“we are working with our pricing department for some adjustments on our fares, and within few days we will adjust our fares where we have a huge fare difference compared to Lagos or Abuja” he said.

In a recent communication to Igbo Ekunie, the Ethiopian Airline confirmed that they have lived up to their promise by reviewing the fares and adjusting them to reflect fair pricing comparable to other routes in Nigeria.

The Airline further informed the organisation of their new route to Enugu from  Manchester United  Kingdom,  Chicago United States, and Barcelona Spain effective this December, and also their plans to increase their services to Enugu from three to four days a week.

It will be recalled that the Ethiopian Airline started flying into Enugu since August 2014, and they recently landed a Boeing 787 900 series in Enugu in January this year as a testament to its growing customer base.

They carried the most international passengers from Nigeria of any airline in 2017.

Igbo Ekunie, therefore, calls on all passengers from the South East and surrounding states to increase their patronage of Ethiopian Airline via Akanu Ibiam International Airport since the fares have been adjusted to reflect fair pricing comparable to other routes in Nigeria.

The organisation also reasons that improved patronage through Enugu will also help keep the airfares competitive, and lead to further increases in the frequency of Ethiopian Airline international flights to Enugu.

hahahaha cry cry babies, please let us enjoy our one nigeria.infact they should close down the airport we dont need it.
