A lot of students are actively searching for universities that don’t require Post-UTME. At first glance, it sounds like an easier path — no extra exam, less stress. But here’s the part many people don’t understand: “No Post-UTME” does NOT mean automatic admission. Most of these schools still screen you using your JAMB score, O’Level results, or an aggregate system. And in competitive courses, the competition is still just as intense. We recently compiled a detailed list of 22 universities in Nigeria that don’t conduct written Post-UTME, including how their admission process actually works and what you need to watch out for before applying. If you’re interested in the full breakdown, just drop a comment below and we’ll share it. Also do you personally prefer schools without Post-UTME, or do you think it doesn’t really make a difference? |
Every year, thousands of students in Nigeria choose courses based on pressure, trends, or incomplete information. Then years later: – Some regret the choice – Some struggle to find opportunities in their field – Some realize too late that they didn’t fully understand what they signed up for This is something we’ve been looking into at Kollegescout especially how students can make better, more informed decisions before it’s too late. From what we’ve seen so far, 3 things matter more than most people think: 1. Understanding the real opportunities in your field (not just what people say) 2. What skills you’ll actually gain, not just the certificate 3. How flexible your course is in a changing job market We’ve started putting together simple guides and breakdowns around courses, schools, and opportunities to make this easier for students who don’t have access to proper guidance. But beyond that, we want real opinions: What course are you studying (or planning to study), and what influenced your decision? Do you feel like you had enough information before choosing? Let’s discuss. |
