lol guys just dey thrown skewed statistics around..from 2005-2013, the EPL missed reaching the finals only twice..in fact in 2009, four EPL teams were in the quarterfinals and 3 in the semifinals..Liverpool was thrashing Madrid like no man's business while Barca was considered the underdogs against Chelsea and manU in 2009...oya count am
2005- Liverpool won the title
2006-arsenal reached the finals
2007-Liverpool reached the finals
2008-Chelsea and manU reached the finals
2009-manU reached the finals
2010-nil
2011-manU reached the finals
2012-Chelsea won....so you see, the EPL was never overrated, they're just having a slump in form...like the seria A giants..

a quality that does not extend a maximum of two to three teams is team quality not league quality, in la liga u see a team drubbed 7:0 even 10:1 is that wat u call league quality? Whereas wen the other teams are playing, the scoreline is close, la liga may enjoy success in europe and la liga may have the highest UCL its mainly due to real madrid and that owes to their pedigree of rushing and trying to harness all the best quality in futbol but that is changing now. Atletico beat chelsea 4:1 its true but u also 4got chelsea beat barca 4:2, does dat reduce the standard of barca? Neither did that reduce chelsea

If La Liga is such high quality why does their TV ratings lag behind EPL? I agree La Liga has the best teams in the world but the rest cannot compete with RM/Barca and so it has become boring!
In the Champions League round of 16 this year, Leicester City, who finished 12th in the EPL beat Sevilla who were 4th in La Liga, so that pretty much rubbishes your other arguments.
