I understand this is Nigeria where people are crazy about connections. People think that because you're from their village, you're supposed to give them a free pass. They won't go through the normal process, and when you refuse, they start to hate you and spread rumours about you.

It is happening to me at the place I work. It's becoming too much because I won't budge. Sometimes I feel like crying. How do I get around this? Why won't people just do things the right way I've never expected anything from anyone because they are from my village or because I know them.

I feel like I won't be able to stand my ground any longer.

U can decide to suffer mouth diarrhea, that's what u choose to be. But the fact that u could believe a senator who couldn't even convince his kinsmen to win an election after offering all he had would suddenly achieve that against the will of the presidency. I don't know how it make sense to you, and stop hiding under north north.

Wc north like a recorded tape. North will have whatever they want, north can never betray themselves, north are united etc.

We saw how north voted for asiwaju against cabal backing of Ahmed Lawal, we saw how they voted for tinubu against Atiku, we saw how Akpabio beat Yari despite him spending lavishly. U r just move by sentiment, it won't happen

Lol.

Baba, you dey always off me with your analysis.
The bottomline at this point is that the North is disgruntled and we both know they've aired their grievance before now. Yari doesn't have to be a good or charismatic leader, they just need their own in the number three position and they can control the Legislative from there. And it's quite saddening for you to naively believe that every Southern Senator in that chamber can't betray Tinubu. That man is not very liked. People are just flowing with the tide of the moment. You think these present senators fancy the idea of being labelled as a "rubber stamp senate" just because they want to follow Akpabio to comform to Tinubu's whims and caprices?

Haba na! Reason this thing.

U keep shouting the north, the north as if there is any thing in this life that from kogi, plateau up to sokoto n Borno have ever unanimously agree on. These are senators, wc each states equally represented, not ur regular over-boated figures they shun out in regular election. The more u try to convince us that Yari can get 2/3 of senators to remove Akpabio, d more dumb u sound. Wc is more easier for the north to get their men into elected position and to remove them. U don't even have no single regards to the presidency n his support for the SP. R u blind to how Asiwaju played his game well to be president even when has a faceoff with the president. That u r in the middle of the north don't mean a jack, are u in the hearts of all the senators? Yari that spent 72million dollar and was betrayed will now automatically will 22senators to his camp with what. U r more sentimental to the north. U even claim the north will get whatever they want. It's ur type that was disturbing us that the north can never betray themselves, same thing u said before apc primary election, same thing in the general election, same thing in the senate presidency election, u r still saying same thing as a recorded tape. Oga Chill it can never happen

A plot of land will give you all you need. 1/2 plot for yams. 1/2 plot for cassava.

You already sound defeated even without trying. Cassava requires minimal maintenance. Do this or stay online and continue complaining.

I hope there is a church around your area. Go there for all night fasting and prayers. God will send down manna from heaven. And pastor will send spiritual bank alerts to your phone--of course after you drop your last dime in the offering plate.

/

1/2 a plot will give you all you needed.

Why don't you pack all your family into cassava farming. Minimal maintenance, so cassava won't require a well aerated fertile land, won't require weeding, won't suffer from rodent attack, won't suffer from dehydration in case there is lack of rain, can’t suffer from termite attack among others. People should just go to farm the next thing is they will be settled for life whereas ur lazy ass have never depend on farming as a soul means of livelihood before.

You don't need to persuade Nigerians into what's lucrative or opportunity. When they see opportunity they can harness they go for it.

Someone with no prior knowledge of farming with no money for basic things, ur sick advise is go and farm. Foooooooool

Losers complain. Smart people see opportunities in times of difficulties.

Imagine someone who plants cassava (minimal maintenance) and yam this period. The outlook is very encouraging. The unemployed loser lounging in the cities waiting for God to pick his/her imaginary calls can relocate to the village to farm. In a year or two, s/he will have more than enough money to start life on a good footing.

You know what to do.
/

I pity those that will take your ill-fated advice. Do u even know how much it will cost to set up an acre of farm, what will the person be feeding on before harvest. What's the assurance that the farm will do well if the op have no prior knowledge of farming. As he has pest, rodent, weed and even thieves to contend with just to mention a few.

Ass of Go2farm whereas they glue to their work

Nice ...that is one thing about we the Edo blood
We ain't scared to say things....nothing scares us in life
And I will continue to say things as a real niggar here on nairaland

Every Nigerian youth know the true president of Nigeria
1) the four major contestants where from the three major ethnic group..atiku( hausa), tinubu(yoruba )
And obi( ibo)
So as a Nigerian youth ask yourself which region is supposed to decide the next president without sentiments and tribalism
If you can not answer this question then your education is a waste...
Of course the South South were in a good position to pick among this three contestants because no one among them is their brother
Oh yeah South south chose obi...
2) as a Nigerian youth name three or two states with alot of educated, enlightened and exposed individuals....if you can not answer that question your education as a youth is a waste
Of course the answer is obvious.....lagos and Abuja
Now check who won lagos and Abuja...obi won
So if as a Nigerian youth you can't not see this obvious truth and you are still supporting tinubu and Apc then I pity your future and you should return your school fee to any tertiary institution you finish from

Stop giving opinion in this forum, people like you should be in prison n not coming here to advise the youth. U n ur types are making things difficult for genuine hustlers than the polithiefians

Trust Awori at your own peril, those people can sell land more than 40times. Once the money they collected for a particular land finish they will want to sell same land again.
