ETIMLEVI:I can supply to you. |
Nice concept |
In which state of Nigeria do we have the HAUSA as a tribe. Is hausa a tribe or a common language that binds all the diverse ethnic groups in the north. Hasua as a language is not only indigenous to Nigeria, other African countries like Benin, Niger, Togo also speak the language. |
KELLSNELLY:There is a claim by a woman to have gotten pregnant from watching 3D porn......
|
MrSodiq:hahaha, it means unbelievable |
ExplicitContent:The number is switched off, how do i contact you |
You all shouting there is no SE marginalisation when it comes to federal government projects.....then why is it that money can't be borrowed to build the second Niger bridge, will it not be of benefit to the whole of Nigeria ![]() |
SamuelAnyawu:This is not an exaggeration or a washing of dirty linen outside....... Ndi igbo si, asokata eze anya, ekpuru nkata n'ihu gwa ya okwu.....(if the king's deeds becomes unbearable, you cover your face with a basket and scold him) If something is not done urgently, we might become a laughing stock. There is abysmal decay of infrastructure in Aba |
AlwaysUltraPad:None at all, the whole roads in Aba are death traps. it's not an exaggeration, apart from the few ones Okezie did when he came in, the rest are bad. Samek, Osisioma, ekeakpara, uratta, Ngwa road, cemetry road, eziukwu road, Faulks road, Mcc road, etc Then Okezie came and dug countless holes in the name of building gutters for close to a year now, all those holes are open. From railway down to osisioma junction, you will see gaping holes. Why open them up if you are not yet ready to complete the project ![]() |
Aba, a town located in the eastern heartland of Nigeria has a strong history that will interest any historian. From time immemorial, the town Aba has always evoked the strongest emotion of attachment from its inhabitants. When Nigeria gained her independence in 1960, many towns in Eastern Nigeria stood out as model towns that will propagate Eastern Nigeria to greater heights, Aba, Onitsha, Owerri, Port-Harcourt etc. were budding Cities, every enterprising young man then either wanted to travel to Aba or Onistha to become established in either business or handcraft. Aba was a center of business even during the colonial era, this can be attested to from the number of factories around the railway area, Lever brothers, AG Leventis, Pz, John Holt, etc, all these companies had factories and warehouses along factory road Aba. From the well organized and mapped out areas and houses along Pound road, ST Michaels road, Hospital Road, School Road, it's obvious Aba was designed to be a big commercial hub to towns around it with a lot of prospects. In the days after independence, Aba developed into a huge commercial nerve center, individuals from cities like Uyo, Obigbo, Umuahia, Owerri, even Portharcourt, flocked down to Aba for business. Aba has gone through a lot of metamorphoses, right from the colonial era to now present day Nigeria. Aba received a massive infrastructural boost during the second republic government of Sam Mbakwe, he judiciously developed Aba in terms of infrastructure. He built massive drainages, built solid roads, till date most of his projects are used as criteria in judging other infrastructures being built. What went wrong with Aba in terms of infrastructure development seems to be the question that begs for clarification?? Who did Aba offend?? Aba that has been a self-sufficient town is now gradually becoming a ghost town in terms of infrastructures especially ROADS. There seems to be a systematic conspiracy being orchestrated to bring down Aba to a level that's despicable. Every road in Aba is derelict. Infrastructure in Aba is capital ZERO. Business in Aba is dying off gradually, no single road leading to Aba is in good condition, Ph-Aba, Uyo-Aba, Enugu-Aba, Owerri-Aba, in fact, no major road leading into Aba is in a good motorable condition. What this single fact entails is customers are not willing to take the risk of coming into Aba anymore for business because of bad roads. All the major markets in Aba; Ariaria, Ahia Ohuru, Eziukwu market, Alaoji spare parts, Orie Ohabiam, Ekoha shopping center are worst hit, no good roads leading to them. The bulk of the blame stops at the steps of the successive governments of Abia state. Sometimes one begins to wonder if there is a grand conspiracy to ground Aba. The number of bad roads in Aba is incomparable to any town in SE Nigeria, in terms of infrastructure, Aba takes the last position. Port Harcourt road is a death trap , Omuma road is a no-go area, Faulks road, Ngwa road, Old express, Uratta road, MCC road, Eziukwu road, Azikwe road, power line, etc, all these are major roads in Aba that have gone to the dogs, none is through from one end to the other. Now one begins to wonder, does it mean the government doesn't see these roads or are they just ignoring them, does it mean they don't care even if these roads divides into two. In the light of the Biafra struggle, one begins to imagine, is this how our leaders will lead us, he who is not faithful in little things, will not be faithful in big things. Successive government since 1999 has left Aba worst than they met it. OUK did roads no doubt but there's none you can point to and say that's the road OUK built. TA Orji came and did the worst, he did NO single road in Aba, all he did was to lay asphalt on already good roads and erecting billboards proclaiming he is the best thing to happen after sliced bread. He destroyed Aba-Owerri road in the name of dualizing the road, till date that road has never been the same. Okezie Ikpeazu, who is the present governor did some roads with his cement technology when he came in, Aba citizens where almost ecstatic that at last a messiah has come to deliver Aba from its abject wanton infrastructural decay, but Aba is still waiting and asking, is this the Messiah or is there another to come. The worst is using these bad roads for politics, flagging off-road construction of Faulks road with pomp and pageantry, till date no single caterpillar is on that road, all we see is boys using tape to measure roads every day. A state of emergency should be declared as a matter of urgency on Aba roads, if not so, in the next 10years, Aba will be a ghost town, no business will flourish anymore, all the hype of Aba being the next Japan of Africa will just be a waste. Going through Onitsha, one will just weep for Aba. There is not even one basis for comparison when it comes to Road and infrastructure between both towns. These two towns are supposed to be on par in terms of development but Abia state government has failed Aba. |

hello nairaland, Am so confused on what path to follow. I ve two girls in my life, but am confused on who to settle down with. Girl A....she is not a graduate, she is a sales-girl, from a poor background, has a love-child at home. I believe she loves me, but I strongly suspect she is in luv cos of her belief that am way higher than her . I sense a great level of inferiority complex from her. She is never money conscious, barely asks me for money, she accepts anything I give her. My main issue is she is not proactive. She doesn't have a say of hers!!!! Girl B.......she is a graduate, she is doing her nysc, from an average family, assertive, doesn't pretend, always money conscious, always looking for ways to add value to her life, she nags and complains alot. She is always advising me to do better, she always keeps me on my toe by criticising any thing I don't do well. But..... I love girl B more than girl A, but the crux of the matter is girl A is pregnant for me...... I just don't know what to do. I need serious advice, I can't go for abortion, I don't want to marry girl A....... |

You just have to Man up and do what you need to do.
