The former Ghana and Qatar handler has sensationally walked away from the Desert Warriors two days after playing a draw against the Indomitable Lions Milovan Rajevac has resigned as Algeria’s coach just two days after the north African team were held 1-1 by Cameroon in their opening 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier. The Desert Warriors took the lead in the seventh minute through El Arbi Hillel Soudan, before Benjamin Moukandjo rifled past Rais M’Bolhi to level the contest in Blida. The Algerian Football Federation had confirmed on Tuesday that the ex-Ghana coach threw in the towel, releasing an official statement on their website. “Mr. Milovan Rajevac resigned today, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from the post of national coach of the Algeria team.” Rajevac who led the Black Stars to the quarter final of the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa, was appointed on June 27, 2016 with the task to lead the north African team to the semi-final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nation and also pick up a qualification ticket for the 2018 World Cup billed for Russia. Speculation has suggested the 62-year-old’s decision to step down as coach could be as a result of the players openly criticising him after the draw against the Indomitable Lions. Algeria face Nigeria in their next qualifier on November with the ambition of rescuing their World Cup ambition.

It is a difficult group but qualification is possible. Win all your home matches and pick a least five points on the road. I'm hoping for the best. |
Mr Femi Adesina doesn't get it. The president is being scrutinised on the serious issues of governance and competence, not on his ability to laugh or lack of it. What's this country turning into? The house is on fire and we are admiring the smoke. Disgusting... |

He wants to halt food importation while the herdsmen and their cattle overun the few farms we have in the country. Then we have been sentenced to hunger and starvation. Who will deliver us? |
If something ain't good enough for his son, why should that be good enough for children of ordinary Nigerians? He wants us to be masquerade attendants. What a shame and insult. |
It is archaic to think you can grow an economy while electricity supply is on the decline. It is archaic to leave everything to chance and think the country would work. It is archaic to keep silent in the face of an increasing form of insecurity, while you are he chief security officer of the country. Sir everything about this government preceedes archaic as a matter of fact. |
Thanks OP for this post. I had issues registering and creating an account weeks ago. I observed your tips and was successful. At the end of application I've been unable to successfully submit my application. I'm constantly being referred to the questionnaire part that I've completed over and over again. Please do you know what could be responsible and how I can sort it out? Thanks. |
