I don't believe coded appointment or secret interviews are part of networking in any civilised society. We want there be job scarcity when the people in-charge are unwilling to let go the vacant seat. What do you see of a situation whereby someone was been given appointment and the employer tells the new start that" the position you are occupying is just for the main time, that the real occupant of the seat is still in school". Should we call that networking too?

@hayjay. Wouldn't say am disappointed at your comment but I understand what you are trying to say. I never complained about what he did, all I pointed out is, such stuff shouldn't exist in a society of literate. We can't allow this continue cos majority of people will be affected. In as much as that continues, Nigeria is heading towards anarchy. Am sure you don't pray for such.

According to the statutory of federal civil service, all Nigerians who are qualified and have valid certificate are entitled to a civil job upon showing their interest to such offer. I don't know maybe this aspect of the civil service act was drafted outside the shores of Nigeria by none Nigerians but the truth is that column actually exist in the act.

Tertiary institutions graduate thousands of youth every year, meaning in every calender year, Nigeria always have qualified citizen clamouring for employment. Youth after the compulsory service year take to the street, job site, blogs and other site to seek for employment. Most of this site actually publish real and ghost vacancy, which 2/3 of the applicant are never called for any interview or even get any feedback from the said vacant positions.

I have always been asking about what happened to vacant seat in the government ministries, Agencies and Departments(MDAs) in the country. what happened to the portfolio of people who died during course of service, people who are retired( even though we know that our commissions are loaded with old daddy's who aint willing to let go from the national cake).People die everyday, vacancy come up every week but this seat have always been left unoccupied. Its always annoying when we don't find answers to all this questions.

Recently, why surfing the web to search for relevant vacancies, a friend smiled and threw his appointment letter on my leg to celebrate with him that he has finally been given a job. I was very happy for him cause this day have been long overdue in his life but what shocked me most was the fact that the appointment was given secretly. No vacancy was released neither was their any news stating qualified youth to submit their credentials.

Out of curiosity, I asked him on how he managed to get the info and he replied whimsically " na leg oo, they just called me and asked me if I was interested in FRSC work. Grabbed it sharply and I did all my documentation's immediately". Hearing that, I developed a cold feet, my mind travelled far in fear that our society is perilously heading towards administrative misgovern. This jobs are never listed even in the site of civil service commission and still yet jobs are been dashed and sold out every month.

I take solace from those who took their time, sweat and resources to apply for the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense corps (NSCDC)jobs. Money were collected for the exercise ,youth were wounded and nothing have been said regarding the job since then. Even thou we know its the right of the government to provide us a gainful job, it has always been the other way around even at the availability of this jobs. I pray this 2015 will be a turning point in the lives of Nigerians and also bring forth glide tidings. Enough of this deceit and maladministration.

Please kindly show us where the figures were written about the number of the beheaded people.

QS 47:1 Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.

QS 47:2 And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.

QS 47:3 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons.

QS 47:4 So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.

Please you can actually start the analysing from the sited verses below

QS 65:2 And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah. That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allah and the Last day. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out

QS 65:3 And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.

QS 65:4 And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.

Well written. I don't need to ask the level of the writers sanity when he was composing this neither do I need to imagine how great he most have been feeling showcasing the height of his intellectual ignorance and public display of his religious stupidity.

My brother will advice you to get a real "Quran" and quote nicely from them than from your quoting from that your so called "koran". Need I tell you that all the quote you inserted in your write up are all false and incorrect. I had to take my time to check them one after the other so that I will enjoy your new discovery from that quoted "koran" of yours but I was bemused on how you actually mislead us with this your shabby writings. Pray the "god" you serve will definitely make you see wisdom from this unnecessary public disgrace you have inflicted on yourself
PoliticsRe: Islam: Word Or Sword? by kosby001(m): 8:52pm On Dec 22, 2014
I'm always bemused when I read things about how people complicate jihad and how we tend to compare the term "jihad" in the holy quran to the activities of the extremist in Nigeria. Am not an islamic cleric neither am I a religious extremist but the truth just need to be told that the activities of the haramist is almost the same thing with the activities of the ISIS and the al-qiada in the middle east.

Jihad like you rightly quoted means "striving" towards a particular course that will increase your iman "faith". Am sure from the quote it was never quoted that muslims should attack muslims or kill innocent people for know just course. Even the prophet advocated for muslims to seek for knowledge even as far as china so its silly to hear some bunch of miscreant saying "education is forbidden" hence they began to kill and destroy innocent lives and properties.

Extremism in the world today is self-centred, politically motivated, and quest for religious and social economic control.
PoliticsFani The Scaremonger by kosby001(op): 8:10am On Dec 22, 2014
What else do we expect from a confused political harlot and a polemic analyst. Am sure he most have been proud of the ignorant and unreasonable write up about a muslim/muslim or a muslim/Christian ticket even thou he hasn't still explained to us what "abdulateef" his doing among his names. Surprised, check wikipedia for more details. This is the same man that ran helter - skelter for political asylum when the heat of PDP was seriously burning under is agbada coat.

To be frank, I have never heard it when an individual is far stronger than an entire central government in a sovereign state neither have I heard when an administrator failed to control his provinces and allow "miscreant and political haramist" seize control of his administrative nerves from him. Am sure that what the parrot who has lose the beak in his mouth is trying to say. Truth need to be told, am so disappointed and ashamed of femi fani kayode's intellectual display of ignorance and lack of respect for Nigeria and Nigerians religion. Imagine a man of his calibre attempting to pull a plug of sectional and religious war in Nigeria again.
I don't blame him sha after -all a dog only recognises the sound of his owners flute so let him keeping entertaining us with is act of confused writings.

Don't think most of us are even willing to learn. Was discussing with someone this morning and she actually said GEJ hasn't done bad @all. Still waiting for her to educate me about the unknown sha.
PoliticsNaira Splash Political Promo by kosby001(op): 8:12am On Dec 21, 2014
I carefully understand why GEJ couldn't do anything to fight corruption in his six(6) year reign in office. My heat failed me and I quickly developed the collywobbles when I finally summed up the money raised during GEJ re-election fund raising last night. Our president was able raise 21 billion Naira from "good Nigerians" and other pledges in a naira splash event.

The wry smile on my face never fades. When remember how "good Nigerians" like Mr tunde ayeni(skye bank) and the "unknown friends" splashing 2billion naira, or prof jerry gana who doubled to be a donor and chairman of fund raiser committee also splashed 5billion naira with his unknown friends. Like that wasn't enough billions of Naira where raised from oil and gas sector, transport, aviation, power, construction among other vital sectors of Nigeria economy.

Since I wasn't able to grace the occasion, let me donate my own quota to the re-election campaign of "our president". On behalf of me and my humble " known family", I donate a whooping note of rejection, disappointment to Gej and his bemused administrators. I pray this my little sense of goodwill brings sanity, change and respect for the rule of law in our government.

Note: for those who are still basking in the euphoria about how our beloved president have been managing our resources, am sure you most have seen the funds are been managed properly. At least "our oga @ the top" can afford to buy more shoes and cloth all thanks to the Nigeria electorate who voted him in 2012.

RomanceMy future wife and kids by kosby001(op): 6:39am On Dec 06, 2014
I don't know if I should tag this a letter or just simply put it as a note to you, my dearest wife and my unborn kids, about the kind of father I crave to be. A lot of good writers have divergent opinions about their plans for the future with their wife, children and a happy home. I have shared in their wealth of wisdom and I perfectly understand the joy in having a happy family. With what I have been able to fathom and other experiences I've gathered, I am prompted to write this so that you both will know the plan I have for our family and how doable I pray it manifest.

Sweetheart, I can still remember all promises and good impression of me I gave to you when I was wooing you. I promised to be your everything and always put a smile on your beautiful face. Never had anything to hide from you, neither was I a swank, that's why I even put all the experiences I gathered in my previous relationship into writing titled 'diary of my ex(es)'. If you would recall all that I wrote in that dairy, I will appreciate you sharing them with our kids because being a good father starts with being a good husband.

My dearest kids,I made several promises about always being approachable when you are faced with challenges. Don't see me as your husband or father alone but you all can see me as your guide and closest pal. I'll always be willing to hear your troubles, share your worries and experiences and we all will sit as one big family to resolve whatever issue.

Who am I when I was your age to discuss relationship matters or even go as far as talking about sex related issues with my dad? Even though your grandpa always look nice, there is always limitations to what we could share with him because we believe it will be repugnant in his sight. I actually lacked some basic facts about keeping relationships then and I promised myself that I will always talk to you guys periodically about sex education. Wouldn't like to infringe on your individual privacy or will I ever shut the doors on your friends from coming to see you or hanging out with them, but I will appreciate meeting them both individually and collectively so as to know the kind of company you keep. I will always be glad to meet the persons stealing my sons' or daughters' heart away at the appropriate time.

Family vacation, shopping and special holiday trips are part of my plans to make our family a united one. I never had a boring childhood and I don't intend to have one with you guys too. I believe creating a forum where all of us will be happy together, meet new people and share ideas with other individuals will go a long way in cementing our nuclear family relationship.

Being hostile to children is one thing I find repellent. Though I don't believe in spoiling the child and sparing the rode but I will definitely improvise ways of dealing with you guys if found wanting, most especially in your education and religious lifestyle because in as mush as I want to make you guys comfortable with life, I won't abhor any form of indiscipline from you all.

I have never craved to have any shambolic relationship with your mother and I pray we will never have any cause to break our homes. I will always be there to swaddle you guys at my leisure and also reiterate how much I appreciate you all in my life. Will work tirelessly to give you guys a swanky lifestyle that me your father never had the opportunity to enjoy.

Till then, I still remain your humble husband, father, guardian and pal.

Christianity EtcIs This Monopoly In The House Of The Lord? by kosby001(op): 4:22pm On Dec 05, 2014
Am writing this not because am a fanatic neither am I an extremist. I conceived the thought of this article because I need to be lectured on how things in the house of the lord should be administered.

Just yesterday I went out with a friend to get some religious movies. We spent quality time to locate the premises base on the little knowledge we had about the location. On getting their, the movies where arranged in catalogues according to the month and year of their production. My friend didn't hesitate to pick her choices since she has seen what she wanted. We collected just seven films and our money was calculated to be 2880. How they summed up that amount I don't know.

Like that wasn't enough, we were handed a newsletter of the ministry in-charge of the movie production. I actually collected it first cause I really appreciate reading intellectual write ups. The newsletter was well printed with full coloured digital printing. Took my time to read the newsletter when I got home and I discovered that God is really doing wonders. The drama mission of the ministry is well organised in a way that the president/movie director is the father of the house, while the other crew consisted of associate director( wife), cameraman, light and sound (son) and continuity director(2nd son).

I was perplexed by what I saw and I began to wonder if the ministry didn't have anybody smart enough to be the director, cameraman or even the script writer. As if that wasn't enough, in d newsletter, a flyer was enclosed inside with the caption"the academic session 2 weeks of spiritual vision encounter with God". I actually loved the programme since it was meant to be an intensive training. Was already conceiving the thought of going when I saw the heavy course fee of 20,000 naira for the training and 10,000 for the alumni refreshers' classes. Beneath the flyer was now a note that reads" bring extra money for lecture Notes and pictures"

Honestly I didn't know what to conclude upon when I read that cause God already asked us not to judge. But am just disappointed about all this happening under the umbrella of "faith ministries" .
