The Edo State Oil and Gas Summit 2013 will bring together, leaders from various government agencies, industries and embassies to evaluate case studies from successful gas companies in Europe, Middle East and Asia and draw up tasks and plans to replicate such models in Edo State and other Gas rich States in Nigeria.

With the highest deposit of Nigeria's Gas and other petroleum by-products in her economy should reflect the affluence and values of these natural resources. With so much done Nationally, in rationalizing ways to convert these resources to Communities, State and National wealth, Edo State is putting together a summit to outline:

1) How these transformations can be done,
2)What the requirements will be in infrastructure, funding, policies, human and technical resources.
3)Strategies and alliances required to successfully initiate, launch and manage natural gas exploration.

The Summit will hold on the 7th of November 2013 in Benin City, Edo State at 9:00am.
