Let’s know how this goes

Failtech:
Where's your location? I want to come pickup tomorrow

Lee Mao. My Oga sir. We hail thee. Will come pickup pronto. Apologies for the delay.

omicpet:
Thanks for the vote of confidence , I’m following in the steps of my role model EMPEROR With the wings .

Ehn ehn you owe me 500 Naira sir please comma pay and your item don read 3 day storage

Omicpet would be the best candidate to carry out inspection on devices. He’s tech savvy and he can always carry out a thorough inspection on your items on request.

He’s a great guy...though he likes money more than he should

He got what he was looking for

Total landing cost.

Too much stories on this thread! A dispute thread should be opened!

Available!!

Ok child. Enjoy your one minute game

Ravenna:
Wetin concern you aproko?
The person i quoted is cool but you're taking offense.
why not unlook?
must you comment?

This is rude sir. Why not unlook? Must you pass a comment?

Ravenna:
What is wrong with you pple sef?
Phone wey don drop price, you still want sell high!

This panel thing should be properly structured. Perhaps, the nominees should form a Whatsapp group and come up with rules, regulations and sanctions.

TechProdigy

Kindly sort out this issue...You’re better than this.

All these have to stop or brought to its barest minimum. The frequency has really spiked. Here’s my opinion.

1. There should be a dispute thread with the most trusted and reliable guys on here. The dispute thread would really reflect and also show how we’re able to handle matters when things go south. Dispute, in my opinion should not be settled in the advert thread.

2. We should kickstart the star/rating system whereby dealhunters/sellers are rated 5 stars or on a scale of 1-10 according to their ‘performance’..This will sort of pave way for newbies visiting the thread for the first time as well as other prospective buyers. They’ll be referred to the ‘star/rating’ thread in order to have an insight on who they’re dealing with and choose whoever they feel they're comfortable to transact with therein. We also give explicit reviews and feedbacks on the items purchased on that same thread.

3. An Escrow option should be seriously considered. IBL offers such service and Omicpet is also willing to offer such service as we’ve discussed this at a point in time.

Thoughts everyone?

Young man, if you’re going to quote me, kindly come at me with salient points and arguments without insults. Thanks.

Lacazzi:
Pls what are you saying. Make some sense.

Pickers clearly state it 'check imei' . Then what is the use of giving them the checked imei to use to run their checks in pickup. Those guys are paid pickup fee, what for?

At least picker should make sure imei tallies with what's in the phone. Picker clearly has fault here as well

But still omioreal, refund your buyer. He clearly is blameless here and doesn't deserve to go through this

Pickers are constantly under pressure and they only work with what’s provided by you. Not saying they don’t have their issue but then again,

I really won’t blame the picker.

dragnet:
don't just wave off his defense, from what he has stated, the picker contributed to the issue by not confirming and further affirmation of confirmation.

Bro. Own up. You’re wrong. This business has gone bad. You’re only doing yourself/name more harm than good. Man up and make a refund. Hash the rest out with the picker.

All these epistles won’t help anyone. Come on, we win some, we lose some. I’ve had my own fair share of losses, so has everyone here. On these pickup streets, one can’t be too careful.

omio4real:
NOTE == After listening to all parties, omio4real you would be the only one to bear the full cost of the refund. I spoke to McMayor and Lionlee behind the camera to get full gist and from all angles, it's very clear the seller played a very fast on you by changing Sim tray that has the original IMEI. You can't blame picker, he did what you asked him to do.

To the issue of wipe or not, from the screenshot shared by Mayor, you kept assuring him that iCloud is not locked meaning he can go ahead and wipe/restore the phone so that passcode can be removed and he can gain access to confirm what you've been assuring him. you don't have to put that in writing, it's common sense.

REFRENCE TO ABOVE STATEMENTS

if you want me to accept full responsibility of refund ,,why do chat to 2person alone while you know 3person is involved, ,now you said is not picker fault,I told picker the phone as passcode lock then I gave the given imei number from seller to him to confirm to the one on phone through sim tray ,after picking I ask did confirm he said yes. now listen had he be the imei I give him was same with the sim tray imei, that's another case but the given imei was different,,,but the sim tray imei was same with the on phone ,,,so here picker pick different imei from the one given ,,how is it my fault and both imei still 8plus plz reason with this very well

To Mayormc I never instruct him to wipe phone ,when he pick the phone after lock code was remove he send me a pics of lost phone then he tagged Icloud lock and no icloud lock on the phone because am checking through the given imei without knowing then that picker pick wrong phone ,,then Mayormc claim to know about iPhone very when he saw that why did he wipe I could remember very well he told when he got to office next day he let me know to my surprise he as wipe it off ,the wipe up issue came up from lionlee that why did he wipe ,,that mayormc should return back to how he was pick ,so why shifting blame on me alone ,I can't bear the refund alone mayormc know too well I never for a day have misunderstanding with him ,I do avoid such to happen but the picker worse it all . first he accept to refund us with phone a 7plus and I told my Bro let accept that ,to forget the issue but later he refused, he insist mayomc have to return the phone to normal state. again why mayormc didn't compared the imei before all this wipe off.

Lol.
