YellowbaMoslem: Is respect what Wike is demanding from Fubara?
Or you are just lying to yourself?
If you don't know what caused the rift between them, just give it a rest. What is the rift that Fubara pretended to be a friend for over 8 years and just a month after handing over to him Wike became his sworn enemy? |

YellowbaMoslem: Omniscience and omnipresent, why doesn't Wike want to leave Fubara alone? Is Wike still the governor? What exactly is he looking for in Rivers government house?
Is he the first ex-governor?
I'm sure you are an APC member, you all think alike. No ex governor before Wike had succeeded in installing a successor. Wike did it first with Fubara. He deserves if nothing but respect from Fubara. Wike is a minister. Ministerial position is a political post. Just like a governor and other political appointment and position , you must show relevance or you get booted out. |

YellowbaMoslem: To give him 35% of Rivers allocation because he's the owner of Rivers state, who made Fubara become governor.
If not for Wike, nobody would have been Governor of Rivers in 2023, he's the one that brings out a governor for Rivers state. If you believe this shit, Fubara might have someone he is smarter than in you. |

It is most likely one Akwa Ibom Ekaite took this Deputy Governor's husband. The supposed law should have been prohibition of men marrying a second wife. Banning of polygamy. A man can marry as much women as he desires. Any of the girls he chooses to sleep with he can decide to marry her. So how do you determine the girl the man wants to marry? This April Fool came three months earlier. |

Sacking Wike is not denying him right to life. Wike does not have any immunity as to say that is why he has not been arrested. Sacking does not diminish his popularity at least in Rivers State. Wike is not popular because he is a minister. In Rivers State Wike is a movement. |
Politics › Re: No Governor Has Control Over APC – Yilwatda by Kreesxxx: 3:34pm On Jan 08 |
9jatriot: Fubara thinks he is wise.Unstable elements like him should stay in their previous party. I am glad APC is beginning to come to their sense.
Fubara comes across as a treacherous, weak, and sycophantic individual. There’s just something about him that reeks of deceit. With Wike, for all his antics, you at least know where you stand.
Fubara, on the other hand, seems like a fickle-minded opportunist, willing to do anything to cling to power. He plays the role of a sycophant to get what he wants, only to turn his back once his goals are met.
During the campaign, he trailed Wike like a puppet, only to betray him shortly after assuming power. He went as far as demolishing the House of Assembly building in his lust for control and is even suspected of being involved in pipeline sabotage to maintain his grip on power. Such desperation disqualifies him from public office and the responsibility of leadership.
Reports suggest that, for the sake of peace, he was advised to abandon his second-term ambition—and he agreed. He was seen following Wike around during his ordeal, seemingly compliant. He didn’t have to agree; he could have made his case right then to continue his term, but he chose to accept the terms presented.
Yet, the moment he returned to office, he suddenly had the "brilliant" idea to join the APC—not because the president compelled him, but because he sees it as a springboard to regain power. Once again, he’s playing the fool, pretending loyalty to the APC until he secures what he wants.
Personally, I neither like nor trust individuals like him. He isn’t the first governor to turn against his former benefactor, but he’s the only one who makes such a spectacle of it. Even now, the governors of Kaduna and Kano have parted ways with their benefactors, yet they handle it without the same drama.
The APC needs to tread carefully with someone like Fubara. He isn’t joining the party out of a commitment to good governance or loyalty to the APC. If anything, he has proven himself untrustworthy and lacking in wisdom, both in his actions and his timing. They should learn from their experience with Obaseki. Once treacherous, always treacherous.
If I had to choose between Wike and Fubara, I’d trust Wike—flaws and all—any day. At least with Wike, you know what you’re getting. God bless you. Chijioke Ihunwo a staunch Fubara supporter thought he was criticizing Wike but did not know he was revealing the kind of person Fubara is. Chijioke said before the election Wike called them Youths of Rivers State and promised them 10000 jobs should Fubara win. Wike employed some before leaving Office. Fubara came in and sacked all of them with the flimsy excuse of them not being employed properly but through political patronage. People employed because they voted for him. Fubara sacked them all. |

The question sensible and unbiased Nigerians should ask is that if all these read out are true. It is not all about because we hate Wike. If Fubara knows he does not have the support of the house he must learn how to meander without coming short of the law. The law if not sympathetic to anyone. Fubara has a bad case in the court and was only saved by Tinubu. Getting into APC does not erase all sins. |

brain54: Wike is a difficult opponent to fight with...
He isn't the kind of person you engage in a direct fight with... you would loose. You would loose badly. Atiku underated and made the same mistake.
Wike is the type of person to avoid any direct confrontation with... if you MUST fight wike you have to do it in a non confrontational manner. Let him not know you even hold grudges.
This is one of the first lessons or experiences I learned when I started out doing business. They are some people you either just leave even when they are oppressing you just never fight directly with them. I don't want to share my personal experience here.
But it's just one of the facts of life. You wan go dey blackmail or threaten wike...how dirty are you willing to go. You want just scatter everywhere.
Dealing with someone like wike you just have to act cool, play the fool and be patient MAYBE with time you can get an opportunity.
Even as tibunu dey there it won't be easy to defeat wike if he wants to fight. Tibunu would eventually defeat him but it would cost him. That's the kind of person wike is. He knows you would defeat him but he is ready to do maximum damage before going down.

How is Fubara issue be your problem when your Obi is struggling to get a VP ticket. What could be more shameful or more cowardice than seeing a presidential candidate with 6m vote, struggling to deputized a Fulani who doesn't even see him as a tool to achieve his personal ambition. They don't think their problems. Their number one enemy in Nigeria is Wike. They hate him because he is Ikwerre. They bhate him because he didn't buy in in the destined to fail presidential ambition of their Obi. |

So, when the major beneficiary of the 2023 rigging has made rigging the talking point of his 2027 presidential contest, I think it’s better for INEC to start taking notice.
Those who plan to rig always make the loudest rigging claim against others. We shall collectively ensure that the kind of rigging that happened in the South East in 2023 doesn’t repeat itself again in 2027. Don't mind him. What if their negotiating demands is that they control some parts of the country, or adding exclusively to the national budget, will you concede? Many of us today don't read and reason. Read what I wrote again. As far as Islam remains a religion, you can't eliminate terrorism. See why you can't eliminate terrorism 1. Islam Quoranic goal is to eradicate Israel. It is an injunction all adherent must oblige to. 2. To dominate the world. With the above goals it is practically impossible for Muslims to achieve this and the contention will be a vicious one. |
