So I was in church yesterday determined to make the most of the service. However, sitting directly opposite me on the other side of the aisle was a 'sister' a very beautiful one, she made it almost impossible for me to concentrate on anything that was going on. I just couldn get my eyes off her, it wasn't because of her beauty or her charming smile, NO! It was simply because there was nowhere else to look. Her dress though fine, was not decent enough for church. No matter how much she pulled, it just wouldn't go down, no matter how decently she tried to sit, it was still in my face, her legs, her exposed legs (trying to sound decent) it was right there, staring me in the face. I was heavily distracted and uncomfortable. I don't believe she deliberately set out to distract anybody (coz she was pretty and didn't need any 'aggressive marketing' to sell) but that was what she ended up doing, she distracted me. Whenever our eyes crossed, she'd adjust herself as if i was some pervert. It was both embarrassing and unnerving. She kept on acting as if I was taking advantage of her or something, who even wanted to see what she was showing sef (I wish there was somewhere else to look). When I couldn't take it anymore, I had to change my position, it was a relief (some fresh air at last). Ladies please watch what you were and how you sit especially in church, it is a place where we go to worship (or pretend to do so) and where we are all presumed to be 'holy'. Please do not make others uncomfortable, why not sit at d back if you know your dress is short? Why not use a shawl? Please let not your dressing lead another to sin.
Anyway like I said earlier, the sister is very pretty, after service I seriously considered...
